The tyrannical Shadow Stallion oppresses Equestria, coating the land in a thick layer of clouds, tightly controlling the population. Three children, the unicorns Celestia and Luna, along with a Draconequus, Discord, must live up to their fate. They must find the Elements of Harmony and take up their rightful place as Equestrias new gods and saviors.

Adventure and Friendshipping mix, intended to be a possible prequel to the show. Featured on EqD since January 09, 2012. Six Stars.

The existence of demons and monsters is quite widely known across Equestria. The fact that they live among us, however, is a well kept secret. Well, of course it is, silly. If things were otherwise, that would mean that I'm not doing my job properly, which is a ridiculous notion in itself. Who am I, you ask? I'm Scarlet, Equestria's very first demon slayer. There's more than one way to lead, and more than one way to be an Element of Magic. An AU looking at the effects of a slightly different early life for two unicorns.

So yes. This resulted from wondering what Trixie would be like as an Element of Magic. Given the choice, I decided to make her and Twilight childhood friends because of the potential for their entire life to be a gigantic Bokke and Tsukkomi routine (a comedian/straight man routine).

I also think that Trixie would do well as a combat mage. After all, she's genuinely powerful (if not so powerful as Twilight) and more importantly she's very good at misleading and bedazzling others. In fact, this entire thing began with my writing the fight scene with Nightmare Moon.

Finally, the Discording she had is based in part off what happened to her in the Pony POV series.

As a day to honour the dead both sides of Equestria under go a temporary truce. A single champion is chosen by each side and in honourable combat they fight for the reputation of their respective queens and nations.

Trixie the 69th descendant of the Great and Powerful fights to re-earn the age old title that Princess Twilight Sparkle has stolen from her family all those centuries ago. Twilight Sparkle growing weary of this age-old rivalry intends to end the Trixie line once and for all.

The death of one will mean the death of millions, as the greatest generals of the age battle it out.
