This story is a sequel to Off The Mark

Prince Mark Wells may now be an alicorn and the coruler of Equestria along with Twilight Sparkle and his wife, Trixie Lulamoon, but that doesn't mean that his life has gotten boring. Something always comes up, whether he wants it or not! Good or bad, as an immortal, he knows he'll be stuck with these incidents for a very long time.

This is a series of short stories that are sequels to "Off The Mark". Chapters may be published out of sequence but placed in the correct timeline.

Feeling the love emanating from the Dragon known as Spike sets off a chain of events, not calculated; but with consequences, just the same. Crysalis tries to ride the Bull, the best she can, answering his call.

Chrysalis is the Dark Knight, forgotten and abandoned by all, or it is what she had thought. Sitting alone in the cave, sobbing her eyes out, over all she had just lost.

A black heart, covered by an equally black skin, hard as rock. A lonely heart with none, and nothing left to yearn for.

Yet, there is something in the end of this tunnel, The hoof reaching out, pulling her up, out of the depth of despair she thought had already claimed her for good. Oh, for the pain that irony sliced out.

Chrysalis has been blasted into the badlands, two months after Princess Twilight's coronation, the ex-changeling queen appears badly injured and seeking forgiveness and a redemption to her race, could the ponies give her a second chance, also, a storm is brewing, because of Twilights heritage...

I was famished and extremely thirsty, I couldn't stand it anymore. I tried hunting some small animals; rabbits, foxes, birds, but it was a complete failure, what else could be expected from a city dweller whose greatest achievement was to prepare rice without burning it?

Luckily I could catch some insects that churned my stomach. It's incredible, almost two weeks and I was terrified dying, nearly hunted by some kind of horrendous bipeds dogs or almost burned by a dragon. A f*cking dragon!

I guess I'm not in Kansas anymore.

Nigh dead, the last thing I managed to see was some kind of insect-horse-thing approaching to me. I was terrified but also resigned to my fate. Maybe it's better die from once than keep suffering.

Would you believe Queen Chrysalis has a child of her own? No, she is not a warrior or military tactical genius, nor is she planning to rise against her mother and bring liberty to her people, and she is sure not planning on infiltrating Ponyville to seek acceptance from the ponies anytime soon. Heck, if asked, she probably could not even point out Equestira on the map.

The truth is, Princess Pupa Roachanov, the only child of Queen Chrysalis spends most of her time in the royal gardens, waited on by her nannies and treated with as much delicacy and care as the rarest rose. It's a quiet, meager life, but it's the only one she's ever known and she is content with it.

The only thing she ever really wishes more of is the affection of her beloved mama...

Pinkie Pie had diverted her shopping trip, ending up facing Queen Chrysalis and a few of her few followers.

The Queen had been strangely happy to see the hyper Pony, even despite the shared history, which would prove frutious on her part.

Pinkie Pie had managed to talk Chrysalis into a new plan, Changing the path of her fate away from what had been a certain disaster. Manehattan would be a much richer feeding ground for the ill-fated hive.
