So with that being said, how did they go from trying to find where a found key unlocks to ending up in their town a thousand years later and back? And what do they find out while there?

It all started when I asked myself a question, What if the Mane 6 & the CMC meet Harry Potter?

Discord is aware of alternate realities but he usually ignores them for his love of Fluttershy and Equestria in that order. When he gets a call for help from one of the other spirits that governs those realities, Discord does it in the most chaotic way possible, he sends The Elements of Harmony and the Cutie Mark Crusaders. In order for the survival of everything, Harmony must spread.

Celestia has given Sweetie Belle a rare opportunity to become an exchange student where she can bring friendship to a whole new world’s students of magic. Elsewhere, Theodore Nott has been given a similar opportunity: turn down his Seventh Year at Hogwarts in order to learn powerful magic from the cursebreakers of the Equestrian Crystal Empire.

Neither of them has the slightest idea what they are about to experience over the next year.

Before it's even started Scootaloo's already been cut off from Equestria, been attacked by a desk, staged a daring prison rescue and thwarted whatever dastardly scheme Lucius Malfoy was concocting this time. Part of her is actually looking forward to going back to school. As long as they haven't hired another psychopathic nutjob as the new Defence Against the Dark Arts teacher.

In 1980 Sybil Trelawney made a prophecy that would alter the Magical world forever. It is well known that this could have applied to either Harry Potter or Neville Longbottom, but what if there was another child that could have fulfilled the prophecy to, a girl? Unwilling to take chances over what Snape heard, Voldemort orders for her elimination as well. Chaos though, has other plans.

Foals are supposed to attend to school, and in Ponyville, that means that Cherilee is their teacher. that is always a good start.

Of course the first dark cloud on the horizon wears a silver tiara. Her friend is rarely far behind. They have been known to eagerly pick on any foal or otherwise, first chance.

Few ponies stop to wonder just how glue is made, or where it comes from. Perhaps it's better that way.
