I´m not a huge fan of Spike, but Chrysalis is my favourite Villain, and so far I like this story.

Chrysalis is interesting to play, based on the little light she was initially give, even if we had a new and fresh glimpse of her at the end of the season.
I have the impression that Chrysalis is playing to win, and for keeps; even when she has a weak hoof.
Thankfully, either she herself, or her Chengelings has been featured on and off, mainly in season Five. Including the one invited at the wedding in Ponyville. One actually did turn up on the invitation, too. Do I sense a new Irony in the face of the Changelings and their relation with the Ponies here?
I accepted the idea that he is more mature, than he looks like, but it is a reaction I can´t stop, t is just weird to image him that mature.
6724435 First off, she is intoxicated, and thus not exactly in her prime; while deling whit what is before her.
He, on the other hoof; is just trying to accept what he is offered, even when it is what he was hoping for all along. Aside from having Rarity, Twilight Sparkle and Pinkie Pie as his mentor on the way.
Finally, there is the small detail as to how we all deal with things, both emotionally and physically. He still is the same Dragon, and would be better equipped to handle emotions that one who needs to harvest them, merely to survive?
They will both get something good out of this.

I did not know this ship was a thing, but when I had an idea, I started wrighting the story you now have before you.
Now I can only hope you will enjoy the story and stick with me here. There should be more to this, but at least I could publish something, without unreasonable delay; once you reminded me of the story.
