Twilight Sparkle has just been crowned Equestria's newest princess. Shortly after her coronation, Princess Celestia tells Twilight that they need to talk. Then Celestia bursts into flames.

This little one-shot came to me a little while back. I have no idea where it came from. Beware of OOC moments and fourth-wall breaking.

Twilight isn't sick. She's perfectly healthy in fact. And yet, something doesn't feel quite right, and it hasn't for weeks now and Pinkie's starting to get worried. Friends make sure friends are alright, don't they?

After finding a chess set in the library's storage closet, Twilight is eager to play a few games and turns to Applejack and Rainbow Dash. Teaching the two most competitive ponies in Ponyville a new game should be a snap, right? RIGHT?!

It seemed like such a noble goal to Twilight: bring herbivores and carnivores together by finally destroying the ethical cost of meat.

She would be lauded by history as the greatest agent of harmony, not that it would matter to her. All that would matter to her is that she'd finally performed an act worthy of an Equestrian princess.

All it had to do was work.

Princess Celestia, Luna, and Cadance are bad, bad, mares.

(No sex takes place, but, it is discussed briefly.)

Being Twilight isn't easy. You have a TON of responsibilities to do, such as studying, and helping friends with all sorts of problems. That's been Twilight's life in a nutshell for an entire week, and with a massive sleep dept to pay off, getting out of bed in the early morning isn't easy, especially when you can't even remember what it is you're suppose to do that day. Maybe Twilight will figure it out while doing her usual morning rituals such as brushing her teeth.

I was inspired by two things to do this-

Second was inspiration from the drawing in the icon, made by the awesome Atryl

What does it mean to be a unicorn? To have spells that create fire, and have light at one's beck and call? The ability to conjure illusions, and grasp and throw objects with just a thought?

There is a point in every unicorn's life when they must decide whether to live with magic as a mundane thing, a simple tool, or to steep themselves in the higher learnings that is their birthright.

For three young mares that have been chosen to be taught by Princess Celestia, herself, their studies have only just begun.

Twilight takes justice into her own hooves, and enacts it on the enemies whom never really payed a price for their actions.

Tirek is in Tartarus, and Twilight has a certain power of his.

She must gain power to carry out this task. When she does, her enemies will know her wrath. But, is this really justice? Will the young Princess stop at her enemies, or will her rage run much deeper?

Rated Teen for Violence and light gore.
