Twilight is ecstatic with her new journal and the prospect of writing her life's adventures, eager to begin. However, one unfortunate event leads to a spiral of terrible luck and decisions, culminating in a horrific tragedy. Twilight fails to cope with her changed life, and as she loses her grip on reality, the journal records it all. Her pain, her fall into madness, and the horrible lengths she will go to in an effort to reclaim what has been lost.

The way others perceive us can affect how we perceive ourselves, and the results are rarely pretty. When a couple of Canterlot ponies from her past come to Ponyville, Twilight has a difficult time revisiting a traumatic event from her foalhood.

Insanity's release has had devastating effects on Equestria.He progresses ever closer to his goal of complete domination. The mane six are down a member and it looks as though Insanity is going to win his prize. A war between the last of the Equestrian's and the minions of the Dark King rages. Can the Elements of Harmony find their lost friend and stand up to a seemingly invincible tyrant?

No matter how strong the bonds of friendship are, the events of life and the call of dreams can still pull friends apart. Only Twilight remains in Ponyville, and she wonders if she'll ever be able to be happy without her friends living in the same city.

A strange epidemic has struck Equestria. It causes Pegasi to rip off their wings and throw themselves to their deaths. It causes Unicorns to lose their magic and eat their own horns, and it causes Earth ponies to tear out their manes and tails and exhibit dementia like symptoms. It leads to death in all three species.

Mass suicides break out in Cloudsdale. Celestia heads to Cloudsdale only to return with the same symptoms. Luna then gets a letter from Twilight saying that the Earth ponies of Ponyville have started tearing out their manes and tails. A second letter comes from the new Unicorn colony that many of the Unicorns are losing their magic. Things go from bad to worse when Celestia loses her own magic leaving Luna to raise ans set the sun as well as the moon.

Luna brings Twilight, Zecora, Regalia the Griffin medic, Ramoth the dragon healer, and Zaphod the Minotaur doctor together in Canterlot to try to solve this mystery.

(Author's notes: Prions are real and all the medical stuff in this piece is all real too. A Prion is a protien that attacks the brain by destroying the neurons and causing strange behavior much like what we see in Dementia and in Alzheimer's. Feel free to give criticism and ask questions if you don't understand something. I'll be very happy to answer your questions to the best of my ability. A lot of research went into this. Enjoy! Spike has just woken up from his hundred-year sleep and realized that none of his friends are around anymore. He is deeply stricken with grief. Can a letter from his wife Rarity, gifts from his friends, and a poem from Twilight Sparkle help ease the pain of their loss?

When I was writing this story I didn't mean for it to take the turn that it did, however a personal event that happened in my life made this what it is. I hope those that read it enjoy it.

It's just another normal day for Twilight Sparkle, ponies are all happy and nothing's really changed in Ponyville. However when she discovers a strange locket at Fillydelphia beach, her life will change... forever.

Would you desperately give everything you owned to get something back in return? Twilight sure would. After a fatal accident, Twilight is left without something very near and dear to her that she took for granted daily. Will she be able to cope with society's views afterwards? Only time will tell.

This is my first time ever writing a fic, so please, let me know what you think, or if anything is wrong.
