Rainbow Dash and Rarity returned from a trip that the table in Twilight’s castle sent them on. It was not, what most would call, a fun trip. Upset, both mares understandably have some questions regarding the nature of the map. The pair and Twilight might very well learn the answers to those questions, and also that some questions are best left unasked.

After meeting her human counterpart, a thought has been bothering Twilight. Why does she need glasses? Twilight knew her vision was perfectly fine, so there seemed no reason for the other Twilight to need them.

Princess Twilight needs to figure this out.

Four months after Chrysalis' defeat and the reformation of the entire changeling race, Twilight wakes up in a cage, deep inside the changeling hive, with a glass chain around her ankle and an insecure Thorax staring at her from across the bars.

At least it isn't a pool of changeling mucus this time.

Meanwhile, Trixie and her chitinous new friend work together to take down Thorax's empire of evil and glitter.

An infiltration attempt goes from ‘wildly successful’ to 'weird and confusing' in record time.
