Twilight's been crushing on Rainbow Dash for a long time - months even. When she finally decides it's time to come clean, she's more than ready to, but Rainbow may have other plans. The prismatic mare has a crush of her own, and she's come to Twilight for help.

Rainbow Dash and Twilight Sparkle made it official; they got married. While on their Honeymoon, a tragic situation back home pushes a young filly to the edge. When they come back , they take it upon themselves to show Scootaloo the light at the end of the tunnel, whether she wants them to or not.

In which I, Twilight Sparkle, (the biggest idiot in Equestria), fail miserably, utterly, and conclusively in my valiant endeavor to keep my decidedly-more-than-Friendship feelings hidden from one Rainbow Dash (the sexiest fastest mare in Equestria).

Twilight never cared much for romance, but after falling for Rainbow Dash, she's ready to make her move. But what happens if those feelings are unrequited? Should she hold onto hope? Is it even possible to let go and move on?

I've read a bunch of shipfics that are all happy resolutions after the confession so I wanted to try an alternative. So here is a slightly darker TwiDash fic because I am a terrible person who must make ponies suffer. Oh God Why?!
