Apple Bloom wished for her Cutie Mark. Instead, she'll become a hero! A magical talking compact mirror offers her the chance to save Equestria from the return of King Sombra. Unfortunately, in order to use the powers of the mirror, Apple Bloom must work together with Diamond Tiara.

Together, Apple Bloom and Diamond Tiara must set aside their differences to save Equestria from looming shadows, the Crystal Empire from it's own painful past, and especially their classmates from their own sorrows? They'll have to so they can transform into Filly Cure!

While Filthy Rich tries to take care of the situation, he leaves his daughter with the only ponies in Ponyville he trusts: The Apple Family. Which means the spoiled filly is forced to get along with her greatest enemy.

Before her descent into madness and her rebellion as Nightmare Moon, Luna lived entire lifetimes as a mortal and traveller amongst the ponies of Equestria.

Restored to her true self, Luna knows she must return to her cyclic life to remain whole. As preparation she chooses to reacquaint herself with the lives of her subjects in this modern age, and in the guise of Sable Moonshine, unicorn scholar and distant friend of Twilight Sparkle, she travels to Ponyville to spend time with Twilight's companions. Despite the 'exciting' month of astronomical observation and scientific research planned by Twilight, Luna nevertheless finds time to work a day at Sweet Apple Acres. And then another.

Applejack, meanwhile, is pleasantly surprised by Sable's dedication and enthusiasm for hard work. She's less pleasantly surprised by Sable's enthusiasm for Applejack.

Viz and Wyk are the worst soldiers in the Royal Honor Guard. Their daily routine of guarding plants and bickering with other guards hasn't led them to much of anywhere, except the local pubs they hang around after hours and the bordellos Viz tends to frequent. Follow these two comrades on their daily journeys and escapades as they continually fail in their duties to defend Equestria.
