Vinyl writes to Octavia, explaining what perfection is.

[2nd Person Perspective]

Working as a waiter at Canterlot's various social gatherings is a nice job. Especially since you began chatting with the cello player of the usual quartet, Octavia. You've gotten to know a lot about her, but one night there seems to be something on her mind. You offer her a drink to ease her nerves and you bring your glasses together in cheers.

Next thing you know, you wake up in a strange hotel room in a town you've never been to next to a certain gray mare.

Octavia, currently the most popular Cellist player in whole Equestria. She is beautiful, rich, talented, and much much more, but she can hardly smile. her music mostly full of joy, but her feelings never feel it. It keeps reminding her of her past life, sad childhood, and a hard life.

Her car's a mess, and so is her life. What better way to start making sense of the cruel world than to take the city bus? Octavia is in for a bumpy ride as she journals her observations and feelings about using the Equestrian Transit System. What will she discover? Only one way to find out!

Lyra and Bon Bon: foster parents? It'll happen, if they can only get past their sardonic caseworker, nerve-wracking inspections, and each others' neuroses. That's assuming things work out with any one of the children that passes through their home. After all of that, there's just the matter of the adoption and the birth relatives. Hugs, heartbreak, and humor will follow in droves.

Bon-Bon has the biggest crush on Lyra, her roommate and best friend. However, Bon-Bon has been too afraid to tell Lyra the truth for fear of destroying the strong bond they already hold.

It is the day before Hearts and Hooves day and Bon-Bon has decided that she will ask Lyra out on a date. Bon-Bon decides that she can't take it anymore and must let her feelings for Lyra out in the open.

Bon-Bon decides to follow Lyra around to get ideas on what they could do for their date, if Lyra says yes that is.

Lyra and Bon-Bon want to have children, but being mares, they cannot conceive one. However, a young filly without a home may well become the daughter of two loving mothers.

Lyra finds said filly one evening and offers her a stay at their place for the night, but caring for the filly brings maternal instincts to life

The fights between Octavia and Vinyl have only worsened, and now their relationship is hitting it's breaking point. But when Lyra gets four tickets for the Lunar Maiden, an eloquent cruise liner, both are invited. Now cramped together aboard the fancy ship, Vinyl and Octavia must cope with the circumstances. Can they hold on to the slivers they have left? And will they take Lyra and Bonbon down with them?

There was only one explanation. For all of it. All of the strange, erratic behavior. Her irrational fear of the sun. Her nocturnal habits of locking herself in in the dark and closing all the blinds.
