Rainbow Dash keeps landing in trouble. For flying. Seriously? She's starting to think it's deliberate...
A fun little one-shot with Rainbow in the human (non-EQG) world.
Now has an awesome reading, by StraightToThePointStudio.
Twilight is on the cusp of leading Equestria for a year. It's been an easy year with no major difficulties. No wars. No natural disasters. No villains.
At least until a villain from the far, far future appears in Twilight's throne room. She's escaping defeat at Twilight's hooves, with one thought in mind: she won't be stopped if Twilight doesn't exist in the future. And here's Twilight's past self, right in front of her. Easy.
Unfortunately, she's not the only villain with this idea.
No star lives forever. Starlight Glimmer knows this. Daybreaker haunts her dreams with visions of the fate that awaits Princess Celestia after surrendering power to Twilight. Can Starlight use her knowledge of astrophysics to defeat her nightmare and prevent Equestria being consumed by a chasm of infinite darkness?
Written to mark the award of the Nobel Prize in Physics 2020 to Roger Penrose, Reinhard Genzel, and Andrea Ghez for their work on black holes.
This story is a sequel to My Little Dashie
Rainbow Dash remembers. Rainbow Dash remembers Daddy.
He raised her. He took care of her. He loved her. And after years of living in Equestria, of being forced into a fugue state by a cruel memory spell, she now remembers him. And, like a good daughter, she wishes to be with Daddy again.
Thus begins Rainbow Dash's journey. It is a journey for the ages. Flying over continents, oceans, purple mountains; there is no length so epic that it will prevent Rainbow from reuniting with the only person who matters in her life. Rainbow will have to outsmart nations, outfly monsters, and combat evils of every shape and form in order to finish her weary odyssey.
This is about more than Equestria. This is about more than simple Equestrian/Homo sapien relations. This is more important than friendship or rainbow lasers or weekly morals for a youthful demographic. This is about love, joy, honor, and sacrifice.
This is none other than the return. The Return of His Little Dashie.
And it starts now.

It takes a lot to be the mayor of a town like Ponyville. You've got to keep a level head in even the most crazy of situations. And believe me, a lot of crazy things happen to this town all the time. Why just the other day... what's that? A monster is attacking? Yes, we get that a lot, but don't worry. Princess Twilight and her friends will take care of it. They always do, after all!
What's that? They're busy with something else right now? But... but then who's going to take care of the monster?!
Just a one shot that wouldn't leave my head until it was written. I hope you at least get a giggle out of it!
