Recruiting AppleJack, the best baker in PonyVille, she begins a dark path to riches that begins and ends with drugs. Several years in the future, a middle-aged Twilight Sparkle is diagnosed with a terminal disease. Facing hospital bills and having severed all ties with Princess Celestia several years ago, and making a meager living as a magic kindergarten teacher, she realizes that she needs to make more money to be able to support Spike.

She sees her opportunity and teams up with Pinkie Pie to produce and sell the popular new illicit drug "Crystal Spark", but runs into difficulties keeping her activities secret, especially since Applejack and Rainbow Dash are leading the Ponyville unit of Princess Celestia's elite anti-drug task force.

Pinkie Pie is being tormented by horrific nightmares. Unable to deal with it by herself anymore she seeks out Twilight's help, but will it have been the best decision when she finds herself alone in an abandoned, fog filled Ponyville?

It was new, as if it were bought for a specific purpose, and contained many events of his life, written in the months preceding his death. Ponies today think of the journal as little more than a myth, seeing as nopony that has read it is still alive today. But when one pony finds the journal, she cannot help but open it. When Sweetie Belle got zapped during the Zap Apple Harvest, no one thought much of the filly's light electrocution.
