A new face arrives in the not-so-sleepy hamlet of Ponyville, in the form of an amnesiac pegasus who appears in the town square in a burst of magic. Though the pony called 'Rainy Daze' seems to settle in quickly, she is harboring three important secrets:

One, that she is not a pony at all. Two, that her memory is just fine. And three, that she wants to get the hell out of this place!

When Canterlot has to be evacuated for a week Twilight offers her parents a place to stay.
Trouble is, while Twilight is a grown up, independent pony who has saved the world (At least three times) Her parents still treat her like she's a filly.
Her father is going through a mid-life crisis.
And her mother is trying to set her up with every single stallion in Equestria.

This is going to be a LONG week.

Fluttershy's always hidden a secret from her friends. It's not a horrible, dark secret. In fact, it's nothing out of the ordinary, at least to everypony else: she's got an older brother.

Her brother, though, has always seems to best her when it comes to, well, everything. Tempers flare when he visits Ponyville, and Fluttershy finds herself wondering if she'll ever manage to be as good as him.

It has been close to a year since the multiverse decided that it was time for you to have a change of scenery. Living with the Apple family and working on their farm, you have carved out a surprisingly fulfilling life for yourself in this alien world. Yet, there is still something that you yearn for...something near...something so close yet just out of reach. Something, call it a fool's hope, tells you she may feel the same...and when things boil over with an old 'friend' you make a decision that could change your life in Equestria forever.

Celestia is payed a visit by a force so powerful that all she can do is stand idly by as it changes her subjects and herself to fit its own greedy desires...

Twilight Sparkle has always admired Princess Celestia. Her fortitude, her wisdom, her eternal grace and love for all her subjects. Twilight has often fantasized about what it would be like to be in Princess Celestia's horseshoes. She never imagined those fantasies would come true.

Twilight reads about a way to view a pony's soul, to see everything about them laid bare. When she tries it on her friends, will she be able to look at them the same way again? Or will the secrets hidden in their hearts drive her away?

(Yes, I borrowed the idea of a "soulgaze" from The Dresden Files, because it's something that really fascinates me. It's not a crossover, just an idea.)

The Medallion of Light and the Medallion of Shadow are some of the most powerful yet obscure artifacts of antiquity. Created by a now-vanished cult of assassins, the two devices together give their bearer the incredible power to walk the worlds with but a single step.

Nefarious forces are closing in on both artifacts, and very little stands in their way. Heinrich Himmler's agents covet the medallions for the greater glory of the Third Reich. Ahuizotl's simply want their master to get what's coming to him: the world, and everything in it.

With the fate of all good people and ponies in doubt, one thing's for certain: saving two worlds would be one hell of an adventure. And if adventure has a name, it must be Daring Do… or is that Indiana Jones?

NOTE: there will be some violence in this story, but nothing more than you would expect to see in an Indiana Jones movie-- so I didn't check the "gore" content box.
