Rarity and Applejack never thought that they would ever pursue a romantic relationship together - they just seemed too different. Funny how they managed to click and last for this long.

Now happily married and expecting their first child, one night - Applejack catches her wife talking to their unborn filly. Somehow, both of their emotions are exposed and they might just learn that sometimes, going with the flow is easier than worrying.

Claire, the dracony daughter of Rarity and Spike has always been known as a strong fearless female. But it wasn't always like that, there was once a time where she did indeed have fears, and they almost consumed her. But one night, while she was cowering in fear from the monsters that were born from her own imagination. Her mother entered her room and taught her the most important lesson of her life.

It was a secret no-strings-attached relationship, that’s all. A few flings here and there, but that was it… and then, Rarity got a job opportunity that changed everything. She had moved to Canterlot to pursue her career, and time flew by. Now, five years have passed, and she’s lost contact of her Ponyville friends. Upon returning to her hometown, she realizes that everypony has changed in one way or another.

And out of all the news, what she didn’t expect was for Applejack to be a single mother to a four-year-old daughter. Now, that isn’t so much a bombshell on it’s own, but what puzzles Rarity the most is how sensitive her friend is regarding the little filly’s paternity.

After all, that’s what friends are for, aren’t they? To worry about one another?

This story is a sequel to Syncopation

Vinyl Scratch and Octavia Philharmonica. There's nopony in all of Equestria that doesn't know these names. They are the pinnacles of their genres and the peaks of every genre in between, but it wasn't always this way.

When they first met, Octavia was fresh out of the Canterlot Conservatory and Vinyl was the only member of Syncopated Records, a new music company created by Fancy Pants and his wife Fleur de Lis. They have grown since then, overcome trials both as individuals and as a company, but Fancy Pants still has greater plans for his company. Plans to expand, to become bigger names, to be known not only in Canterlot, but in all of Equestria! In order to do this, the musicians of Syncopated Records, Vinyl, Octavia, Harpo Parish Nadermane, and Lyra Heartstrings will travel through the princessdom, playing their songs and trying to make their own mark in music.

But it will be difficult. They'll have to be more than a company and more than a music group. They'll have to work together, getting used to their off-beat attitudes until they can work as one.

Syncopation must meet with Synchronization.

Twilight Sparkle and Sombra are married. They rule a kingdom together and raise their two kids. They are the royal family.

But how did this family come to be? Better question, how the hell did Twilight end up with a stallion like him?

This story is a sequel to The Fruits of Their Labors

Rarity always believed that she knew exactly who she was, what she wanted, and exactly how she would obtain it. Then she fell for somepony wholly unexpected: Applejack. When unhappy tidings call Rarity to the frozen North to spend the Hearth's Warming holiday with her relatives, Applejack accompanies her into the family fray.

The ponies arrive in Whinnyapolis at a time of endings, and find that relationships can be fragile things, vulnerable to the cold. Rarity will search her past for the key to her future, but the old house at Maple Cove may not hold all the answers she needs. Perhaps, though, two ponies will learn that there really is no place like home for the holidays.

Applejack is a simple farmer, Rarity is a complex and up-and-coming fashionista; two very different personalities and two very different lifestyles. So different that they had very little contact or interaction with one another until a certain lavender unicorn came to town and six near strangers became the best of friends.

Can Applejack and Rarity learn to get along or are they just too different? This is the story of a simple farmer and not so simple fashionista....
