Lightning Dust blew it. Everything she had worked for, hoped for, bled for: gone. All in a moment of blind bravado that nearly ended up harming innocents. With that weighing on her mind, Lightning Dust seeks to lighten the weight on her shoulders.

She loves to fly, foals need to learn to fly, so what's the harm in teaching the fillies and colts to share the skies?

Lightning Dust wakes up late, to another grey, gloomy day. She's cold and tired, and she's never felt so terrible in her life. But really, all she needs is to get back into a routine, or to see her friends, or to sleep a little bit longer... then she'll be fine.

Really.

Often called a psychotic, meth dealing hillbilly with a habit of untamed violence and murder sprees, Trevor Philips is someone that no one wants to mess with. The body pile he leaves behind and then sets on fire just for the heck of it proves that. But after a particularly deadly drug deal gone wrong, Trevor finds himself in a place even his disturbed mind has difficulty comprehending.

The feeling is mutual for the ponies.

"Farm life aint easy!" Oh give me a break. It's easier than you think, if you have the right knowledge. This is the motto that Scotty Andersen goes by. His life on a Michigan dairy farm would seem like the most peaceful setting for anyone. Well that's not exactly the case for Scott. With a divorced family, and dead mother, he is forced to live with his grandpa on his father's dairy farm. He recently graduated from High School and is offered the job of running the farm. He's not too fond of the idea, but has no other option. His sorrow for his destroyed family is lost with his thoughts of suicide, and depression. All he really needs is a friend, but when he constantly moves from place to place, changing schools as he goes, it seems impossible for him to ever 'fit in'. One trip down the highway in rainy weather sets him on a path that not even he knows how to react.

Second story. Constructive Criticism is very much appreciated.

For Derpy Hooves, it seems like every day gets worse than before. Her whole life she has been seen as nothing but a rolling disaster. She's seen as a clueless, quirky, messed up pony, simply due to her walleyed disability. How can she possibly hope to erase the stereotypes she was assigned? For Derpy, it's impossible.

Impossible, that is, until she chances into a certain purple unicorn. Will this meeting be yet another failure, or could it be the opportunity she's been looking for, and how could that opportunity affect her life?

I'd like to thank slip_stitch for being both an editor and a proofreader for me. Without her help, this story would literally be one giant punctuation error.
Also, thanks to Ardensfax for giving me the inspiration to try my hand at writing, Tobyc for putting a massive amount of work into a tvtropes page dedicated to the story, and Perilian for the massive amount of encouragement that kept me motivated enough to work my hardest at writing.

Rainbow Dash shows a surprising amount of manipulation to get Twilight out for a romantic night. Rarity might have helped a little.
