Twilight Sparkle has been living a lie. Everypony told her what a beautiful and accomplished mare she was. Everypony thought she was a responsible adult. They were wrong. She was still just a filly trying to stumble her way through life.

Celestia has a secret: She hates her job. It's not like she can quit, though. After all, what would her little ponies do without her? But then Luna returns from the moon and provides a whole new perspective on modern Equestria, and Celestia starts to reconsider everything. Does Equestria really even need her anymore? Only one way to find out!

On the Density of Alicorn Skulls: A sharp blow to the head can do odd things to one's personality. This is particularly problematic if the victim in question is a widely respected leader of her people.

This is a series of unrelated one-shots focused around Celestia, who remains one of my favourite ponies. It's marked completed, since there won't be a continuing narrative going between all of the shorts. It will continue to see updates though, since I have plenty more ideas for the Princess!

But when Derpy takes the series in a different direction, Twilight Sparkle and Rainbow Dash are upset, to say the least. Stripped of her power, trapped in a form unfamiliar even to a changeling, and at the mercy of the locals, Chrysalis must learn how to get along with others before she is allowed to return to save her hive. And if successful, she may just be allowed to keep her new friend... If he's willing, and if he can survive the drawbacks of being one of the rarest changeling classes ever seen:
