Almost a year after the events of “Griffon the Brush Off” Gilda still laments over the events which ended her relationship with Rainbow Dash. After a brush with Discord the realization that life is passing her by compels her to go on a dangerous journey alone in the hope that it will allowed her to finally achieve a definitive win over Rainbow Dash in competition. Meanwhile strange events across Equestria begin to create tension between griffon and pony governments, threatening to open up old conflicts that were thought to be forgotten.

Gilda life and griffon society in Equestria at large are explored in great detail as Gilda is guided on a path that will ultimately reunite her with the only pony she ever cared about.

There's some things we wish we can change, some things that linger with us for awhile. And sometimes, when we're alone crying, those terrible deeds come to haunt us, causing us to see things we that seek out our most vulnerable emotions. One griffon sits alone, waiting for something or somepony to come for her, to come help her. Yet, what she get's isn't what she suspects.

(This story was a short for Easter that has nothing to do with Easter, as a present to my fans. It's based off of JackleApps's "Winter" It really isn't that good in my opinion, but It's better than nothing. First impressions are important, but often inaccurate. For example, Gilda. When she first met Pinkie, she seemed like a controlling, abrasive, thieving jerk. But is that all there is to her? Or is the real situation much more complicated? When Gilda returns to Ponyville to try and fix her friendship with Rainbow Dash, the truth will be revealed.

Rainbow Dash has long been teased as a fillyfooler, and seeks a new start in Ponyville, where nopony judges her for her mane. But when she opens her heart, she soon needs to find shelter from the storm that follows her. And find shelter she does, but not in the place that she originally expects.

Rainbow dash gets the surprise of her life when she finds out Gilda and Pinkie pie are engaged, but even more surprising is how excited everypony else is for the upcoming ceremony. Can Rainbow dash learn to cope with her jealousy and be the best mare her friend deserves? Can Gilda deal with all these crazy ponies without snapping? Can Spike find anyone to date him? Oh the delightful melodrama! The first time Ive ever written a fic. I'm gonna need lots of feedback on this one. (Please be gentle?)
