Let me start off by saying, that this is a humanized story! It's Spike's Birthday & he wants one thing, and one thing only! Will this be the greatest b-day gift Twilight has ever given to her #1 assistant Spike? Maybe, and I also shipped Spike with Lyra Heartstrings!

Spitfire, Soarin and Fleetfoot have been working on a new trick called "The Triad Drive" A complex trick that not many trios of pegasi can accomplish. If not performed right, it can leave disastrous consequences on the performers. After the Triad Drive goes wrong, the three wonderbolts land safely as foals. The first one to notice this is Rainbow Dash, and she gladly decides to take care of them until a cure can be found/made. But when it's confirmed that there is no cure, Rainbow Dash will have to do the best she can on raising the three Wonderbolt Captains. Expect foalish fun and foalish things!

After taking enough abuse from Diamond Tiara, Applebloom gets a very interesting idea going in her little head. A challenge to see who wears the other's style better.

After some encouragement from Silver, Diamond reluctantly accepts said challenge, and gets a new perspective on life. But only for a short time.

When Rainbow Dash agrees to temporarily care for an abandoned foal, she ends up getting more than she bargained for. Under the scrutiny of the public eye, Rainbow Dash has to try and bring up little Taboo right.

Life is full of surprises. That is a known fact. However, you always expect some kind of minor surprise, like your train arriving a little too late, or your ice-cream having vanilla taste rather than strawberry. But sometimes, life will give you surprises you could never predict. For Fluttershy, it was three little foals. But not her own foals, or even orphans. Three little foals that used to be her and her friends' most fearsome and dreaded foes.

She also has an ambitious goal in life: she wants to be the first mare ever to become the Captain of the Royal Guard, which she's been preparing herself for since she was a little filly.
