The sun was setting on Ponyville, and children at the playground were either getting picked-up by parents or older siblings. One of the kids here was Spike, who felt longing whenever he saw colt get picked-up by their big brother! He knew he could never have that kind of joy, to have a brother to do guy stuff with! in fact, Spike can guy stuff with other guys at all, since most of his friends were females and any male friends he had were too busy! He felt a great sadness in his heart, till somepony cried out...
"Spiiiike, come-on, time go home!"
Spike's sadness went away a little, since his Best Friend forever came to get him! Yeah, Twilight has only seen Spike as a friend & not as family! Still, Twilight loved Spike regardless! Spike & Twilight took a taxi back to the Golden Oaks Library since teleportation makes Spike throw-up!
Later that night...
Twilight woke-up in the middle of the night to hear Spike talking in his sleep. Spike wanted a brother, that's what she heard him say! After hearing this, this could give Twilight a chance get an even closer bond with him! Also, what luck, Spike's 10th birthday is tomorrow, and oh, will she give Spike a great gift! But 1st, she had to write a letter & hope that the Ponyville post office wasn't closed.
"Dear Shining Armor..."
Meanwhile...
"Huh? That's strange, why was I having a wet dream about Spike?" asked the human obsessed unicorn!
