Octavia is what you would call a prude mare. She has certain standards, and won't fraternize with the grunting, babbling buffoons that make up "popular" and outwards ponies. She keeps to herself.

Vinyl is Octavia's complete opposite. She may very well be one of the "popular and outwards" ponies that Octavia has grown to dislike. Or is she?

Differences and similarities are tested to their limits as the two of them start to learn that there is more to the world than their own personal corners of it.

The city is in a state of unrest. The bronies have been plaguing Equestria and the ponies have been treating them like dirt. Now, both communities believe that the only way to solve the problem, since neither side wishes to atone or forgive, is to fight it out. This leaves two friends, Apple Bloom and Black Gryphon, to come up with a solution and make peace between their respective neighborhoods. Will their efforts to mend the bond between the ponies and the bronies succeed, and what dark secrets will be uncovered in the process?

There's going to be a lot of characters, both canon and original, in this story so get ready. I won't be mad or surprised if you forget a few names.

Pastern is Princess Celestia's personal maid. When a Changeling raid kidnaps her, she finds the only means of escape is befriending her captor, a Changeling by the name of Gaskin. They escape together and have to live in a town that hates Changelings.

Based on Mark Twain's "The Prince and the Pauper."

Twilight Sparkle is stressed with her new role as a princess and wishes she could go back to being a regular old unicorn.

Dawn Cracker, a unicorn living with her indebted father, wishes she had the life of a princess.

When the two meet, they discover they look a great deal alike and (of course) decide to switch places. What chaos will become of this?

Life is pretty unpredictable for me, but that alone is the predictable part of it. Pretty early on, I learned that I should expect the unexpected, and enjoy the brief moments of peace when they were there. Such an outlook helped me early on to keep from going crazy with all of the stuff that's happened to us all.

As the years passed though, I found my own source of peace: my closest friends.

My best friends were always there for me, and I for them. We held each other up when we fell below the surface of the sea of life, and offered friendly smiles and listening ears to each other when we needed it most. Even with all the insanity we weathered over the years, we became closer in spite of it...or, perhaps because of it. In a world of hoarding dragons, I may be the only one that cherished a small group of ponies over gold or jewels.

Note: Ponies are considered adolescent/mature at a much younger age than humans (six and fourteen, respectively). I've made an oversight on this, and I believe this explanation will fix that. It's been three years since Spike and Big Macintosh joined the war. Spike has a secret that is the cause of his joining the war that he feels would destroy his friendships, but can it stay hidden? King Sombra has returned and has joined forces with the duke of the drakos. The Elements of Harmony are called in to defeat Sombra who is turning the war in favor for the drakos, and Spike's squad is called in to protect them. Sombra has a grudge against the purple drakos, and leverage.

Some years after Sweetie Belle and the other cutie mark crusaders earned their cutie marks, Sweetie Belle notices Spike coming over to her house so much for Rarity. She's always wanted to sing for him, or cook for him, and just play with him for once. She always asks him if he wanted to do something,but he says no. Is there anyway Sweetie Belle can win him over?
