Sunset Shimmer is a girl with problems. For instance, there's the students of Canterlot High getting bewitched by magic from an unknown source. Then there are her attempts to enter a band in the Battle of the Bands, only one of whom can actually play her instrument! Not to mention she still hasn't gotten over her feelings for Flash Sentry. Oh, and let's not forget her massive inferiority complex in regards to Twilight Sparkle. Yeah, like that's not constantly hanging over her.

It's almost more than a girl can take and still keep sane.

Written a week prior to the Rainbow Rocks release. Has nothing to do with the movie... Outside the six or seven things I predicted!

It all seemed to be finished, Sunset Shimmer had been defeated by a magic rainbow laser, and she tearfully apologized and said she wanted to learn a new way through friendship and Twilight asked her new friends to help the defeated bully to learn while she and Spike returned with the crown to Equestria, after celebrating the formal of course. When the formal ended Twilight said goodbye to her friends and she and Spike stepped through the portal to return home, only to walk into the statue. They missed their chance and were trapped in the human world.

With no known way home and unable to communicate with their friends the two Equestrians have to adjust to earth life while searching for a way to reopen the portal while dealing with a repentant Sunset Shimmer.

The flame between Sunset Shimmer and Flash Sentry has long been snuffed out. What was once began as a blossoming romance eventually turned into an asset to prop Sunset above the rest at CHS, including Flash. It wasn't long before Flash finally broken off.

Ever since then, the two have intentionally avoided each other, hoping to keep old wounds closed. Even after Sunset's reformation, the two never fully mended their relationship, resulting in awkward exchanges and run ins. However, after the events of Camp Everfree, they agree to start over again as friends, finally putting their past behind them.

As their friendship grows, old feelings and attractions begin to reemerge. Flash recognizes these feelings and wants to try developing a relationship again. Sunset, however, refuses to face these desires, instead she believes in her fear that another relationship would only result in bring harm to Flash again.

This is the first book of a grand Flashset story that I've been wanting to do for a while.

As the Hearth's Warming season approaches, even Sunset Shimmer is affected by the season of love and friendship. When she speaks one-on-one with Flash Sentry for the first time and they go out on the town, they end up sharing a cold night together that soon turns hot and reminds her that she wasn't always alone.

Sunset goes to talk to her ex about his unexpected heroics against the rampaging toast robot.

After saving Camp Everfree, Sunset Shimmer just wants to kick and celebrate like any typical teenaged girl. Or at least as typical as one can be when you now possess magic powers that let you see into the hearts and minds of others.

But memories are a fickle thing, and when Sunset Shimmer runs into her ex-boyfriend, she soon discovers that even a memory can be deceptive.

After the Battle of the Bands, Flash suddenly finds himself with a crush on Sunset Shimmer once more. He decides to do something about it.

...Stuff ensues.

Originally was supposed to be a Half Baked Apples chapter, but I felt like this was a good idea and sorta ran with it. Also, cover art is not mine and only relates to the story in the way that Flash and Sunset are there, because it was past 10:30 at night and I decided to write this all in one night and didn't want to waste time finding a more relevant picture or drawing one myself. So there you have it.

Ever since their trip to camp Everfree, Sunset Shimmer and Flash Sentry has rekindled their friendship. All seems well and good but when the two begin to realize something about themselves. The two will work on the issues from their past and also in the present. You know what they say, there's always room for second chances.

This takes place after the Equestria Girls: Legend of Camp Everfree.

This story is a sequel to Just the Flu

From the moment Sunset woke up, she noticed that Flash seemed to be acting just a little bit different. He's usually a goofy idiot, but today he's an extra nice goofy idiot. Is today special for some reason?

This is a sequel only in the sense that the prequel shares the same continuity. None of the other related stories are required reading to understand the others.
