Ever since Applejack and Rarity were stranded at Twilight's for her very first slumber party, Twilight's been inviting her friends over for 'proper' slumber parties just so that they could all have a bit of fun and relax. Over time, it's become tradition, leading to some rather entertaining antics between the six friends.

But one of their favorites has become the telling of scary stories. While Twilight delights in the socializing and Rarity savors the creative process, Dash and Applejack have taken to trying to beat one another for the scariest tale. Surprising everypony, even Fluttershy's taken to listening with rapt attention.
