“We got him! That was easier then I thought it would be.” C42 told D13
“I know. With as powerful as the queen claims he is, you would expect him to put up a little more of a fight.”
“Hehehehehehe, who do you think you just took captive?” the prisoner said in a cocoon made from the changeling goo.
“Shut up in there” D13 demanded.
“As you wish”.
Both were trying to figure out why he was laughing. As they entered the hive every changeling they walked by couldn’t help but laugh at the scene, as C42 and D13 dragged the cocoon that was three times their size. It was similar to a filly attempting to move Celestia. Finally reaching the holding cell, they dragged the prisoner in, locked the gate, then collapsed on the floor from exhaustion.
”Do you think the Queen will reward us?” D13 asked even though he wasn’t able to open his eyes at the moment.
“Honestly, I don’t care if I am rewarded or not. I feel accomplished just getting him here. I mean seriously, did he add weights to the goo when we weren’t looking? Nopony alive should weigh as much as a cloud.” C42 told him just as he was starting to catch his breath.
“Wait, aren’t clouds supposed to be super light? If they were really heavy they would just fall, also how would the pegasi move them? Hmmm?” D13 asked between breaths of air.
“D13 i’m not going to sugar coat this You are a idiot. Clouds weight thousands of pounds. I’m not even going to try and explain how they stay up, and pegasi move them with their magic.” D13 couldn’t help but look at C42 with his common “I’m so confused” look.
“Pegasi have magic? Also how do you sugar coat words? Do you just take a spoonful of sugar before you say them? D13 asked while his eyes started going derp with him trying to think.
“UGGGGG!!!! Just stop thinking, you’re giving me a headache.”
Without noticing Chrysalis entered the hall “Not nearly as bad as the two of you give me” at the sound of her voice both changelings were up and standing at attention. “I told you that you can not just grab any random pony whenever you feel like it.” She hissed at the two making apologetic smiles.
“Wait! Please, this time we got someone really important!” C42 explained before she could start walking away.
Sighing she asked in defeat ”Fine. Who did you capture?”
C42 and D13 looked at each other and smiled.
“DISCORD!”
Remembering last time she saw him, she could feel the color draining from her face. “YOU’RE WORSE THEN IDIOTS! GET HIM OUT OF HERE BEFORE IT’S TOO…..” Chrysalis shouted at the top of her lungs before she was cut off by a bright white light that blinded them momentarily. “Late” she finished with a look of terror in her eyes.
Not daring to look at the queen D13 decided to ask “Are you proud of us?” Not being able to comprehend the situation before he felt something hit his head and his world went black, C42 guessed the answer was no.
“I’ll go find him.” C42 explained running for his life away from the petrified queen.
“Yeah, its going to be a long day” Chrysalis told herself carrying the unconscious body of D13 to the chambers before something happened to him. Such as her ripping his head off and feeding his body to a manticor.
“Now it’s time to have some fun”. Discord said to no one in particular. Knowing not to overdo it, he decided to just keep it easy until he can do his main objective. “First I need to add a safety precaution.” With a snap of his talons he cast a spell preventing the changelings from using their magic or change form. It wasn’t like Tireks magic, but a copycat of the poison joke effect. He disappeared before any changeling noticed him. Starting with the easiest he found the D squad that D13 came from. “I need to do this simple. Otherwise I doubt they will understand what was happening.” Laughing internally he snapped his tail, sat back and waited.
“AHHHHHH!!!!!! Why am I pinki?!” D8 asked
“At least you’re not polka-dotted!” D22 replied half in shock
“I’m a pretty purple! I’m a pretty purple!” D13 started singing.
“This doesn’t make any sense. What’s going on?” D2 interrupted.
With that Discord decided it was time as the mass freak out was reaching its peak. “Well what fun is there in making sense?” Discord said scaring the squad. His voice sounded like it was coming from everywhere, when In reality he was disguised as one of them in a corner. Hearing all the commotion, Chrysalis thought that would be a good place to start. Bursting into the room she couldn’t help but burst up laughing at the circus colored and very confused changelings.
Calming down just long enough talk “O-Oh my, this is perfect. Maybe we should keep him around.; you know, just for fun.” Smiling to herself before remembering why she was there in the first place again. She quickly rewired her brain to stick with priorities. “Discord! I know you’re in here, come out NOW!” Crysalis yelled trying not to start laughing again.
“Awww you always spoil my fun” Discord said turning back to his normal form. The reveal sent every changeling scattering out of the room like cockroaches, sending both the queen and Discord into giggling fits. Hearing a click she raced out to see what he had done, only to have multiple drones laughing, and she could not figure out what he had done. Giving up she decided to continue her hunt. Behind her should could hear him say “Ta ta Crysi, hope you have fun” before he disappeared again. Next he decided to hex the a,b,and c squads. It was too easy, since they were all in the main training field working on new techniques. Doing his magic, he made it so every changeling became super clumsy. It was the gift that kept on giving. He watched as one went for a punch, did a somersault, and rolled into a different group, knocking them down like bowling pins. Smirking he thought “Well it’s a start. I just need to do enough so they will take over my job for me and I should still be able to make……”
“FOUND YOU!”.
At the sound of the queen's’ voice, he nearly fell out of the tree he had been hiding in. “So it seems you have.” Discord said regaining his composure. “I have to admit that was faster then I anticipated. Good job Unfortunately for your little hive, I haven’t even truly began to start.” He explained taunting her with a evil smirk that sent a chill down her spine. Having already done what he wanted in the first place, he was secretly satisfied. He knew better then to mess with them too much after last time. (And ponies thought being trapped in stone was bad). Growling Chrysalis lunged forward.
“I’ve had just about enough of you. GET HIM!” With that command thousands of multi-colored changelings tackled, hog-tied, and gagged him. “I’ll be back”. She hissed. Before a single word could be said Chrysalis and Discord disappeared.
“CHRYSALIS! What are you doing here?” Noticing who was at what was obviously a Pinkie Pie party she just wanted to make it quick.
“Just delivering a present. Please, I beg you to take him back.” She started throwing Discord across the room.
After a moment, Luna, Pinkie Pie, Rainbow dash, and Applejack all burst up into laughter. Cadence just stood there trying to take in what she was seeing, Celestia and Twilight just stood there in shock, Rarity had fainted, Fluttershy was sneaking away to go help Discord, and Shining Armor stood guard in between then with a shield up for protection, not knowing if that was all she planned to do.
“I still don’t understand all the laughter today” Chrysalis hissed.
“What is the meaning of this?” Twilight asked finally coming back to reality, and trying to keep a straight face.
“Exactly what I said, delivering a present” she explained with a very annoyed tone before she disappeared.
“Oh my goodness! Are you ok Discord?” Fluttershy asked finally getting him untied.
“Yes my dear, you never have to worry about me.” Discord told her giving her a comforting hug.
“Well it seems like you had fun” Celestia said finally back in reality and trying not to laugh at the events that just unfolded. “Is that why you were late to the party?” She asked even though she knew the answer.
“Yes” he replied looking slightly amused at the princess struggling with her will power. “I have a feeling she will be back for me though.” That being said, the party started again.
“Should somepony try and wake up Rarity?” Rainbow asked.
“Naw, sugarcube, she’ll come to. I hope.” Applejack said sneaking up behind Rainbow.
Going back to the hive, and just ready for a nap she finally looked in a mirror and gave out a blood curdling yell. She was rainbow skinned, with Luna's mane, Celestias tail, pink glitter polk-a-dots all over, a cutie mark of a clown discord sticking his tongue out, derp eyes, and Cadences crown. “DISCORD!!!!!” She screamed in shock
“Yes my queen?”
Jumping out the sound she looked over her shoulder. “HOW IS THE CUTIE MARK TALKING!!!!!!” Finally her world blacked out as she fainted do to hyperventilating. Spying behind the door watching the scene with amusement were two very familiar changelings.
“Hey D13” he said looking worried
“Yes C42?”
“I think she is going to need a therapist after today”
“On it. Oh by the way, you look really good in purple and orange stripes”
