Violet has been plagued by nightmares, but they feel so familiar. Are they memories? Are they future events that are soon to come? She didn't know if they had anything to do with the undead that they had just defeated. After marrying Twilight, and adopting Scootaloo, She thought everything would be fine. She cares for her new family, and her friends as well, but how can she be there for them if she can't get these dreams off her mind?
Note: This story is a sequel to my first story: The Beginning of The End. So if you haven't read that, I recommend doing so, just to make sense of this storyline.

Ponyville has been attacked by the undead. The only hope that Equestria has lies in the hooves of a mare named Violet Arrow. She soon realizes that she is the only pony that can save Equestria after saving her closest friends from an attack from the undead. She asks where this came from. Nopony knows. Will she discover the truth to this new enemy? Will she be able to save Ponyville, let alone Equestria? Or will everything fall to the undead?

A Man. He hungers for vengeance from a time when the world including Equestria was still primal. It was before Celestia and Luna graced it with utopian peace and harmony. What if every thing about their rule is built on the bones of other civilizations? What if those old pony tails aren't just stories but the few bits and pieces that remained of the truth? The fables of monsters and intelligent races not like ponies are more then fiction...they are dying embers of a time before.

It is the thirtieth century, humanity has advanced well past interstellar spaceflight. Starships are commonplace, as is strife and conflict. Humans have developed an incredible sense of ingenuity for destruction...ingenuity that has not gone unnoticed. Decades of conflict have changed our race, and a human with a mind for destruction is exactly what a certain creature on a lonely and distant planet is looking for to help her in a last desperate grab for power. Something that I'm sure has been done to death but, since reading East of Eden, I wanted to do something a little more thought provoking. I got the idea while I was alone in my house, with just the sound of a clock ticking to keep me company.

Twilight isn't having a very good day. An experimental spell blew up in her face, an army of changelings is attacking Canterlot, and she just died. Yet somehow, it looks like it's going to keep going downhill from here.

Given the chance to correct what's gone wrong, Twilight swears she's going to fix all this even if it kills her. Which it will. Frequently.

On a dark night filled with even darker magics, an insane cult attempts to give Nightmare Moon a body and life of her own, utterly separate from Princess Luna. But, when the spell is interrupted by Celestia, something unexpected is created.

Now, a little black alicorn filly named Nyx finds herself living under the care of Twilight Sparkle, only to be haunted by memories and emotions from her past. Is she Nightmare Moon reborn or is she simply a doppelganger with a soul and mind of her own? Can Twilight Sparkle protect Nyx from those who refuse to see past her dragon eyes and black coat?

Or, will Nyx be forced to inherit the sins that may not even be hers and become the greatest evil Equestria has ever known?

After failing to stop the black hole on the capital ship of the Uber-Ethereal, the psionic volunteer instead converts it into a worm hole, and sacrificing himself and his squad to save Earth. But the volunteer, unknowingly, alerted another alien warship, loaded with ET's, when the disturbance of energy occurred. Now, after saving the Earth, the volunteer and his squad find themselves cut off from the XCOM Project, with a a battleship of vengeful aliens hurtling towards them. But, that's just the tip of the iceberg when they find themselves in a world, filled with technicolor ... talking ... ponies. Still, things are never as they appear to be in this confusing world.

Twilight Sparkle never was a Unicorn and she didn't even know it.
What happens when her true heritage comes to light? Will she willingly embrace it? Or will she be forced to?
