He has thoughts he needs to put down onto paper, some strongly worded thoughts for an irksome purple princess.

Ever since the sirens overthrew the monarchy in Hippogriffia and cemented their power with their enthralling magic, Adagio, Aria, and Sonata have had nothing but work cut out for them to keep their growing empire of Sirenalia in order and their vision of vengeance on the Pillars in sight. With Northern Zebrica and the Canterbbean under their spell, there is little else to stop them in their schemes. Therefore, it's the perfect time for a break to finally enjoy all the perks of being in charge!

At least, if Sonata could have her way and convince her fellow sirens to chill for once.

Oh, golly! So, six months ago, I became the Supreme Empress of Friendship in all of Equestria, right? Yeah, I dethroned the existing princesses and imprisoned the Mane Six in Tartarus... But later, I found this Guardian Amethyst thingy and that transformed me into an alicorn! And then, for four long months, I was the only pony with magick... I saw how they all looked at me... I just knew they weren't happy and well, I can't really explain it, but something inside me kinda just broke?

And then three months ago, I decided that I needed a new assistant! Now, I needed somepony knowledgeable on what the other ponies want and need... And so, after talking with her about parole and freedoms, I released and employed Twilight Sparkle! Her friends must remain locked up for the time being as there's simply too many of them...

And then there was yesterday, when I decided to open the vortex again and allow magick to stream back into Equestria... I saw how happy that seemed to make everypony. I went to bed shortly thereafter and later woke up. I just had breakfast and was meeting with my assistant later that morning...

Sunburst has gotten into the habit of waking up early on every Hearts and Hooves day to make breakfast for them.

Starlight doesn't know what to make of it until much, much later.

She isn't upset with him, but rather how their relationship isn't exactly like all the different romantic comedies she has studied. The changeling even shows Sandbar a few of the rom-com manga she has been reading, which includes a few the pony knows. Can Sandbar convince her that rom-coms are not to be used as study aids?

Rarity is a busy mare, but such is the life of an up-and-coming young fashionista like her. Between designing her newest gowns, overseeing multiple shops in multiple cities, all while managing to maintain her social life, she hardly has time for anything else. There are some things, however, some ponies, that she will always have time for, such as that little red-headed filly gazing through her window of her boutique.

The School of Friendship takes all kinds of students and deals with all kinds of friendship problems on a daily basis. Some things are easily resolved: A fight between two students over lunch, troubles getting along with someone else during a friendship exercise, that sort of thing. Some times, it's more troubling behavior from more troubling sources; unhappy families, unresolved issues in the like.

And then you run into some students with too much talent, too little self-confidence and an unusual approach to solving problems. Like Dusty Gust.

Fortunately, The School of Friendship takes all kinds of faculty, too. Including guidance counselors whose knack for theatrics is surpassed only by their willingness to work with children, regardless of how atypical their problems might be.

My entry into the Kirin Fans of Cuteness story exchange, and a gift for VoxArachne. I sincerely hope that I got the character right - The wiki only listed her as "Kirin Friendship Student S09E26 Unnamed Kirin #3", so I gave it my own touch, embellished things a little and hoped for the best. In any case, hope you liked it.
