It's a sunny afternoon, and all of the girls have managed to gather for a picnic on a hill.

Each has drifted in their own way; life has called them somewhere else.

Twilight Sparkle struggles to bring them back together: to make those giddy times return.

You have to learn how to say goodbye in life. Goodbye to friends and farewell to family.

But, sometimes, there's the odd few that will always be with you.

The main six have very complicated lives. On top of their everyday tasks, and dealing with the problems of living in a town near The Everfree Forest, they also have the weight of the world on their shoulders. This can cause a lot of problems and stress for the main six, each one having their own ways to cope.

Applejack has her farm and family, Fluttershy has her animals, Rainbow Dash has her clouds, Twilight has her work, and Rarity has her dresses. But Pinkie?

Pinkie lives to make others smile.

But the world is far from a nice place, and not everypony deserves to smile. For the sake of Equestria, perhaps it is best for some ponies to be left to drown in their own misery.

Faced with such a pony, Pinkie is left with a choice. To make this pony smile, no matter the cost. Or to preserve her own happiness.

Then again, it's not like she ever had a choice.
