Midnight is a changeling... who works and lives at the Golden Oaks Library with Twilight Sparkle herself. It wasn’t a very smart decision, but the reformed changeling needed a place to stay. Now she’s building herself a new life in Ponyville, but as the events of season three play out it gets increasingly harder to keep her identity secret. Combine that with her new friendship with Lyra and Bon Bon and sporadic appearances from the Doctor, can she keep her cover and defend her new life in Ponyville?

The changelings are banished, the day is saved! Yet a victory for one must be a defeat for another, and this particular victory has left one changeling stranded in Canterlot, alone and broken. A certain pink party pony is also alone in the Canterlot night, hiding her depression from her friends. She cannot, however, hide her feelings from a changeling. What will become of this unlikely pair?

After the invention of radio, DJ-P0n3 (aka Vinyl Scratch) holds the first Equestrian talk show with her co-host Octavia. Octavia quickly finds out her superior is very eccentric, leading their broadcast to be constantly derailed, yet somehow remain popular. Her involvement in the ill-fated "pony pokey" at the prestigious Grand Galloping Gala has left her blacklisted among the elite of Canterlot who form her clientele. Faced with the possibility of being evicted from her apartment for inability to pay rent she decides to take a temporary job at a local nightclub. Of course, she's never set hoof in a club before and has no idea what she's getting involved in . . .

With the help of Captain Smartypants and Private Cadence, General Twilight defends her fort against her brother's advancing army of one!
