After a rather painful wake up, Jackson Hail finds himself in a rather scaly skin. Just what is he? How did this happen? Where is he? What's with the quivering yellow horse thingy? You already know this answers, but let's come along with Jack as he finds out.

(Your standard Human in Equestria story, with some not so standard elements I hope. I came up with the idea after I saw that almost nobody thought of this. Please note that this is my first fan fiction, so, you know, the usual dribble. Also note that I have no idea as to what categories this falls into quite yet, so I'll be modifying as I go along. Critique is encouraged. And thanks for your time!)

MPORTANT NOTE: Being a FanFiction, the story is completely non-canon. What I WILL tell you however is that it takes place in the events right after HL2:E2 after the rocket launch.. Plus, being a crossover, some things may not make sense. Bear that in mind.
(Ex: In most other ‘Human in Equestria’ Fics, the human(s) are turned into ponies. In my opinion, this has been disproved by the HL series, because it literally shows humans going to other universes and still retaining their shape. SO yes, humans are once again in Equestria)
Also, throughout the FanFiction, I will give links to some appropriate music and information as you read.

Gizmo was raised in a part of Equestria where science was more trusted than magic, and he puts his skills to use in Ponyville inventing all sorts of new things. Sometimes he doesn't even know what he himself is building. Maybe someday he will.

An idea that I came up with while sitting around on campus being bored. hopefully this one actually goes somewhere cause I do so enjoy writing for this one.

Description: Two years after the camps opened up, the Western Territories of the USA are nearly vacant. It is once more a frontier, ripe for exploration and settlement. On bequest of Princess Celestia, Twilight Sparkle is to experience the human world by joining a family of Pony Settlers on their journey out West. It's Dangerous to go alone however, so in an act of good will, the US government is sending someone to make sure no harm befalls the ponies.

Somewhere, deep in the EverFree forest, a black and slightly grey car appeared out of nowhere. But this is no ordinary car, this car is looking for revenge, and will get it in any way, shape or form. Can a lone pony and her seemingly identical car defeat this menace?

A Knight Rider/MLP crossover, because it has not been done yet.
This is my... 2nd story I have written for FimFic, and it too contains a car.

The star system Omega Centauri was just another oddity on a map to scientists in the not too distant future.
