Everypony believes in fairytales, right?

Well, not Rarity, but who cares about Rarity Schmarity because THIS story about Rainbow "Awesome" Dash being the first to find a lost princess of legend.

One-shot based on prompts submitted by Ko-Fi Subscribers. Prompt was "Enchanted Library but it's Dash who finds Twilight instead of Rarity".

Twilight Sparkle is a truly terrible dancer. Everypony knew this, even Rainbow Dash. But, after accidentally blurting out a request, Rainbow decided she'd seize the opportunity, no matter what other ponies may think.

Written for my girlfriend, who's probably a better dancer than me, though that's setting the bar pretty darn low.

Have you ever heard strange voices in your head? Have you ever felt like your life is being observed or controlled by some omnipotent being? Twilight Sparkle has, and it's driving her up a wall; the FOURTH wall! Watch the hilarity ensue as Twilight hears the soothingly manly voice of yours truly!

There are some situations where being an Element-Bearer can help a pony in her daily life.

Getting a mailing address officially changed isn't one of them.

Twilight Sparkle just loves the new dress Rarity gave her for her birthday. So much so, in fact, that she's got to get her groove-thing on. She has to... dance.

Naturally, this leads to horrifying consequences. Including, but not limited to: winding up in the dance-future, rescuing a dance-topian society from its evil dancerlord, and dancing with the power of friendship.

What started as a normal friendly visit ends up taking two ponies on a trip down memory lane that leads them both to realize their friendship began even before Rainbow Dash's first sonic rainboom.

Twilight loves books and feels it's high-time she tried writing one. A problem arises when she realizes she has no idea what to write about. Thankfully Spike and Starlight are there to throw in their two bits.

Naturally, Twilight is grateful for the help... but then they actually start pitching ideas.

Things proceed to go downhill from there.

So little is remembered about the days of Ancient Equestria. Now, with the magic of friendship restored, the curiosity of Sunny Starscout sets her eyes upon a strange old journal among her late father's belongings.

"The Daylight Horror" by Twilight Sparkle. Between those pages, Sunny discovers a harrowing tale, suggesting that the late Princess Twilight was quite the versatile horror writer.

After all, it is just a creepy story... isn't it?
