The changeling even shows Sandbar a few of the rom-com manga she has been reading, which includes a few the pony knows. Can Sandbar convince her that rom-coms are not to be used as study aids?

Sequel “Crush Story”

In an effort to better understand the holiday, Ocellus asks if she can visit with Sandbar and his family for Hearth's Warming Eve. Sandbar is more than happy to welcome the changeling, as Hearth's Warming Eve is his family's favorite holiday of the entire year. Spike invited Ember and Thorax to celebrate Heartswarming Eve, sadly Spike had no idea how hard it is for changelings and dragon to make such a long road through snow and ice.
Thankfully they find some shelter in a lonely cave and have the chance to work up some feelings. Little did they know, that they will learn more about love and share here in this cave, than during the celebration in the castle.

As the leader of the Changelings, it's important to Thorax that he has allies within Equestria.

And which better place than the Crystal Empire itself? Where he was first accepted and allowed to roam freely within the land.

Ocellus finds a love letter in her locker asking her to meet by the big tree. Her friends as happy for her as she comes to terms with the idea of having someone special in her life. Meanwhile, Sandbar, who has feelings for Ocellus, feels upset that he wasn't fast enough to confesses to her.
