They call it the Starlight Rose. Roseluck sells them at her shop, although she only has one a day.

Everypony has at least heard the rumors about what happens to those who buy the rose and sleep alone. Could one simple blossom truly bring secret fantasies to life, if only for a night?

Celestia and Luna gaze at their old family portrait from long ago. Two smiling young fillies sitting beside their beautiful mother were painted upon the canvas with oil paints that have miraculously survived the onslaught of time. But part of the painting is torn, and for good reason. It was that portion of the painting that had their father on it.

They cannot stand to look at their father for even a second.

But he is coming once again for his yearly visit, much to their eternal dismay, to spend time with them, and to apologize for being what he is. Will they finally forgive him after so long, or will they only continue to distance themselves from him?

Ponies take Celestia and the sun as granted. And why shouldn't they? It has existed before any of them can remember and it will probably keep on existing for a very long time.
There was, however, a time, long, long ago, when there was no sun, no night, no ponies, nothing.

This isn't an epic tale or some sort of great adventure. This is merely a look back at Celestia, in a very distant past, when everything was still to create and how her long story as the princess of the sun began.

Rainbow Dash never understood love. She just didn't get it- until Twilight Sparkle. Now, with an upcoming trip to Canterlot, Dash has decided that she has one week to make our newest princess fall in love with her, too.

A few years have passed since Princess Luna was purged of the evil known as Nightmare Moon by the Elements of Harmony. She took back her rightful place on the throne of Equestria at her sisters side.
On a sunny day, a couple of seemingly mundane events trigger memories long forgotten. Memories of a secret Luna hast kept to herself for far too long. Facing Celestia won't be easy. But she has no choice. It is her duty to care for her subjects, and she has to retake the responsibility she could not fulfill while banished to the moon.

Inspired by Children of the Night. Cover art is a screenshot from the video. I do not know if there is an "official" story for the Children of the Night and I do not claim mine to be "canon" in the context of the video. These are just my thoughts on what might have happened back in the days.

This story takes place right before the season 4 finale.

Rainbow Dash has never been to the eye-doctor. One afternoon Twilight takes her to the clinic to check her eyes after a minor flight accident. They end up finding out something that makes no sense whatsoever to any pony in Ponyville.

Woke up this morning to see that my random story that was published for no reason got featured 2/28/14. I'm not complaining, but it isn't a work of art :P. I guess anything a teenager writes about multicolored ponies amuses you.

Fluttershy and Twilight go in the forest to search for Angel when he disappears. Trying to get back to the cottage as fast as possible, the two find Angel, and two other strange creatures. Perhaps these strange creatures are tied to the item that Fluttershy found in the forest on her morning routine, or maybe just a new species awaiting to be cataloged.

Rainbow Dash receives a letter from an old friend detailing their harsh foalhood and resurfacing memories she had tried to forget
"You didn't tell them did you.
You didn't tell your friends that you grew up in a dilapidated orphanage. You didn't tell them you endured years of child abuse. You didn't tell them that everypony told you that you'd never be special. You didn't tell them your father gave you up because he spent all his bits drowning his sorrows in cider. You didn't tell them of the little family you made, and of the happiness they brought you. Of our flight sessions beneath the stars, wings and hearts beating in tandem."

Applejack and Rainbow have been secretly dating behind their friends' backs for a couple of months. However over the course of time Rainbow has found the farmer constantly making excuses to avoid her, and it seems that she is too busy for anything. It's a peaceful day, Rainbow is just taking it easy, doing her job just like everypony else, when she gets word that Applejack wants to see her right away. Unfortunately the news is terrible... It turns out that the mare of Rainbow's dreams had been lying to her all along...

Everything seems like it is spiralling out of control for the poor peagsus, and she seeks refuge in the one friend that she knows that will help her in time of need. Will Rainbow be able to piece back the parts of her broken heart? Will the now destroyed friendship between Rainbow and Applejack, be able to go back to normal after what happens? Does Applejack deserve to be forgiven for what choices she has made?

They say when one door closes, that another one opens... But why must some doors cause so much pain and suffering when they close?

Big Macintosh is a hard-working man: everyone knows that. What many do not know, however, is just how long he works during the peak of harvest season. He runs himself ragged every night in order to get everything harvested and put away, so that there is enough food on the table for his family and their town throughout the winter.
