A fan of FiM wakes up in Equestria with only his boxers, a comforter, and a pillow. Is it a lucid dream or something more? He soon finds that things aren't as simple as expected and is thrown into a fight with his own sanity.

One thousand years. For 1000 years, Dex stood as a statue within Canterlot Castle's gardens. After all that time, he finally gets released, but as he learns of what he lost, he finds that his actions have consequences.

History said that one thousand years ago, the younger sister of two sibling princesses grew jealous of her sister's day when ponies shunned her night and that she was banished to the moon for a thousand years through the power of the Elements of Harmony. However, only half of the truth has been recorded into books and ponies' minds. There was one other who aided the princess in sealing away Nightmare Moon, who without his help and his ancient magical power, would've meant eternal darkness in Equestria.

Warning: There will be some swearing used in later chapters. Also, as I been pulled up a couple of times, the beginning chapters are sub-par. I'll go back to the chapters at a later date to fix them. But, or now, I ask you to continue reading if the first chapters are what's putting you off.

This is a fan-based story, Fairy Tail, MLP and any references all belong to their respective owners. I own nothing.

Life can be difficult, even downright depressing from time to time. There are times we let all that bottle up until it reaches a point of helplessness, which becomes our focus.

Sometimes, we can find solace in the most unlikely of places.

This short thing is in fact based off a dream and experience that I had just weeks ago that I decided to put into words. Logic would say the dream was just that, the creation of an overactive mind during slumber, the result of a pessimistic and frustrated attitude combined with the ever-churning thoughts of the continuation of my writings.

My heart begs to differ with that explanation...

The end of all things. When the universe dies all is meant to be empty of life...

The Doctor knows this, but he can't help but be curious. So he travels to the last star holding out in the void, slowly blinking out as a massive black hole in the centre of what is left of the universe prepares to begin life anew, as it has done so many times before.

But the star isn't alone...

One day, over a plate of burgers, the Doctor and Derpy became very interesting to a lecture group of 4th dimensional beings.

Note: A bunch of nonsense I've come up with after looking at the picture used as the cover art. I don't even know which reincarnation the Doctor is in this story.
