Twilight has settled into her new castle, which now feels like a home thanks to her friends. The only problem is she's still not sleeping and still finding excuses to keep herself busy. The last few weeks had been particularly stressful. She thought that once everything calmed down her life would get back to normal, but something that happened affected her more deeply than she thought.

Rainbow Dash can tell something is wrong. She wants to know if she can help.

Spike's birthday has become a more happier time since his growth spurt. Now he is free to enjoy it with friends, family, and loved ones. However, an unexpected guest arrives to bring something new to the festivities, his mother. What secrets does she hold about his birth and why are her eyes an unique color.

In spite of Twilight Sparkle recently receiving wings with her "Ascension" she remains apprehensive at best about her new appendages and refuses to fly. Luckily one Rainbow-maned Pegasus has a lot (and i mean A LOT) of experience flying. She knows she can get Twilight to fly if she just show her how amazing it can be...and spending time with her favorite egghead wouldn't hurt either.

I'll be highly surprised if no one's done this before but here's my take on it.

Side-story to Past Sins - Spike almost lost Twilight to a hangmare's noose, but now Twilight is safe and Nyx is a filly again. Normal life is returning. Still, Spike can't ignore the fact that Nyx just isn't the same as he remembers her. Her temper is more volatile, and, when she gets angry, all he can see is the rage-driven Nightmare Moon of legend.

And thus Spike has to wonder: Is Nyx truly reformed, or is she one bad tantrum away from calling herself Nightmare Moon again?

Follow Princess Twilight as she goes from being a cute little baby filly to where she comes to a time in her life where she will be chosen to defeat Nightmare Moon, and free her long lost Aunt Luna. She must befriend the mares of the Elements of Harmony in time to defeat Nightmare Moon and save her mother's kingdom from eternal night. How will the events play out with all of Equestria, including the elements of harmony, knowing she's a princess? Well, only one way to find out every pony. I do not own any lines or characters from My Little Pony TV series, only OC's I may throw in.
