Cadence wasn't always an alicorn, and neither were Celestia or Luna. They used to be something altogether different—technically, they still are. In reliving Celestia's past, Twilight takes Equestria's future in her hooves. Time will tell what she does with it.

The Alicorn Delusion is a prequel to Magical Mystery Cure.

After the assassins sent by a rival Changeling Queen murders the loved one of Queen Chrysalis, she must find a new husband or wife quickly, or be forced into desperate actions for the sake of her swarm before they starve.

Twilight gets a distressing letter from Celestia and rushes to Canterlot.
What happened to the princess? What is Luna up to? Why do I sound like the narrator to a bad crime drama?
The first chapter is inspired by a drawing from JohnJoseco. The rest will be my own madness doing its part.

Twilight Sparkle thought that she had felt all that happiness could offer. She had perfect friends, an amazing mentor, and even became part of the Princess monarchy. She was as happy as she could be.

This fic was inspired by the picture, and the title came from it as well. The picture and title do not belong to me. I would like to thank Hikariviny for drawing such a wonderful picture. It inspired me to write the single best thing I've ever written. I don't wanna sound modest, but this story is the one that's most likely to be featured out of all of my stories. I understand that many of you don't like that it's Flash X Twilight. It's just who the picture was related to, and I wrote it based on the picture. Please don't dislike it because of this. When a threat is made against Princess Twilight Sparkle, Shining Armor gives her a guard. But because Armor doesn't want to scare his sister, the guard goes undercover to become her coltfriend. To their astonishment, it works! But what happens when the guard falls in love with the princess? (AU tag because Equestria Girls does not take place.)

And after watching from the sidelines as Princess Luna became Nightmare Moon, he knew he had found an ace in the hole. Despite his defeat, Discord's greatest trick was still to come.
