After a horrible fight, Applejack has broke up with Spike. A year later, Spike and Rarity are getting married. Applejack, realizes the mistake she has made, however will Applejack convince Spike to give them another chance?

After his reformation, Discord had finally warmed up to the idea of having friends, but friendship without trust and mutual understanding means nothing. His latest attempt to gain Twilight’s ends in a magical catastrophe. Injured and left without his god-like powers, Discord has to work with the obstinate alicorn to find a solution.

It soon becomes apparent that a misguided spell isn’t the only wedge driving the pair apart. When those wedges are removed, it’s up to Discord and Twilight to repair the damage. They never imagined it would go further than that . . .

Spike left Ponyville to live in Canterlot two years ago. Now he is back, and Rarity is stunned by what she sees. What happened before he left and what will happen now? What will Rarity do with her feelings, and how does he feel about her now?

That's it, the last straw! Discord is done with this! He has had it with these mother-bucking ponies and their mother-bucking harmony! After a particularly bad day of not being allowed to be himself, Discord does what he does best. He finds a loophole and exploits the tartarus out of it. Best of all, he'll get to do whatever he wants, guilt trips from a certain yellow pegasus not included.

Then again, telling nopony one's plans certainly has its perks.

And what is his brilliant plan? He's taking a nap. If that nap just so happens to induce nightmares in those he dislikes and mass insomnia in the others... well, no plan is perfect. Dreams are more chaotic than the waking world anyway.

Story takes place in the undefined time between episodes "Keep Calm and Flutter On" and "Magical Mystery Cure".

Researching the history of Discord's time as ruler of the land, Twilight comes across something strange that piques her interest. Looking further into it, she discovers a piece of information that changes the dynamic of not only her own, but everypony's relationship with the mysterious draconequus.

Discord is utterly bemused by the apparent turn of events. Why in Equestria is everyone suddenly being so nice to him?

It's been just under a month since Twilight has become a princess, and there has been plenty of things she needed to get used to. One of which was the almost daily pranks Discord has tendencies to pull on either her or Princess Celestia, but oddly enough never Luna. Now that she thinks of it, the two of them hardly ever acknowledge each other outside of court or social gatherings. Twilight wants answers for her questions, but the question is will she like the answers she finds?

Spike has made it to 17, a time when a colt becomes a stallion, at least for ponies. The same goes for our Dragon as he realizes what being a man truly means. After an altercation during his Birthday, spike will face his fate and possibly his doom at the hooves of a dark, and demented tyrant. It will be up to him to protect Twilight, to be her Guardian in the upcoming war against the shadows....

With their sharing of letters, Fluttershy begins to learn more about the conundrum known as Discord, while Discord learns what it truly means to be a friend.
