A homeless colt and filly try to survive the harsh cold on Hearth's Warming Eve, despite the deaths of their parents a few months ago. They try to make do with what little they have to survive. But tonight however, may be their final Hearth's Warming Eve, until a certain couple step in to make their HWE a bit brighter for them.

Octavia, Vinyl, and Lyra are trying to put together a Hearth’s Warming Eve carol for all of Ponyville. Unfortunately, they get themselves into a musical disagreement, and end up turning on each other, each one thinking their style is superior to the others. Not even the town is free from the chaos, as they get in on the argument, and end up feeling upset themselves

Will Hearth's Warming Eve go on without a single carol, or will the three Ponyville musicians find it within themselves to compromise?

Rainbow Dash needs help with a problem. It's the day before Hearth's Warming Eve, and she still doesn't have a gift for one of her friends. But for this particular friend it can't be any old gift, no. This gift is for Twilight Sparkle; Student of Princess Celestia, Element of Magic, and Rainbow's crush.

Hearths Warming Day is almost upon the village of Ponyville and no two ponies are more excited then Sweetie Belle and Button Mash. For the energetic gamer, it's a chance to get as many new games as he wants, but for Sweetie Belle she's excited because she'll be living a dream. After a year of saving their money, she and her sister are going to the Manehatten Hearths Warming Show where all the best actors, musicians, and performers play for one night only.

However, when disaster strikes leaving Sweetie Belle's dreams shatterd, Button resolves to help his best friend.

Trixie heads to Carousel Boutique to spend her first Hearth Warming Eve with somepony she loves. Trixie and Rarity have plans for the night with Sweetie Belle. But the plans are changed when the filly brings a friend with her, who also happens to be her crush.

Hearth's Warming Eve is quite magic. Sweetie Belle soon discovers that after her godmother, Celestia gives her a nutcracker named Button. The filly learns of the Land of Sweets and that Tirek is an evil king who has captured the true rulers, the sugar plum princesses, and will force the eldest, Luna, to marry him! Now, Sweetie Belle and Button must save the princess with the help of some friends before it's too late!

It's Hearth's Warming Eve and Fluttershy's gift from Aunt Luna is a nutcracker. Her aunt tells her that he is under a curse, cast by an evil monster called the Chaos King.

She doesn't believe her until night falls and the Chaos King comes with his army. Shrunk in the battle, Fluttershy must venture with the nutcracker into the Land of Sweets to defeat the Chaos King and break his evil spells.

Hearth's Warming is a time for friends and family to come together, celebrate harmony, and welcome the new year. Nyx is looking forward to just this as she rides the train to Canterlot with Spike and Twilight. She's going to meet her extended family for the first time and wants nothing more than to make a good impression. Yet, the sheen of the holidays can't hide the trouble caused by meddling grandparents, relentless reporters, and a paranoid uncle.

The griffons have launched an unprovoked attack against Equestria, but Twilight doesn't care about that. All she cares about is Rainbow Dash going to war.
