There are so many things Fluttershy has a hard time explaining. Like, why the new stallion in town won't leave her alone; or, why she decided to break off her new relationship with Rarity after only a month; or, why she isn't sure she did the right thing. Maybe the right setting and the right dress will be enough to make everything clear. Maybe it will be enough...maybe.

They shared a touching moment in the garden. At least Vinyl thought so. But it’s been a while since and her prior attempts at getting the Princess’s attention have failed. This time she’ll be noticed for sure.

As it turns out, you can't just suddenly inherit the magic of all three pony tribes without getting the instincts to match, and instincts can be a powerful thing. Doubly so when you're not used to them, and especially when they're telling you that your best friend with the gorgeous wings would make the perfect partner to share a nest with.

With rent skyrocketing and developers too cautious to build new homes in an unsteady economy, Sunset and her friends jump on the opportunity to buy affordable housing. But when their personal spaces start overlapping and everyone sees a little too much, things get a little uncomfortable.

Learning how to be human, in the sense of both her physical body and her new outlook on life, has been an interesting process for Sunset Shimmer. Just as she starts to think she's figured things out through and through, something else comes to shake things up completely.

The latest such instance being when she learned her best friend had begun to think about their relationship in a whole new way.

And as Twilight and Sunset begin to explore what it means to care for one another the way they do, encounters with Twilight's family bring back moments in Sunset's life she'd long tried to lock away in shame. Resolving to confront some of the ghosts of her past in person -- albeit not quite in person -- the pair embark on a journey that brings Twilight to a brand new world, and Sunset to one she struggles to recognize, as both find themselves laying their souls bare before each other.
