2 weeks have passed since Camp Everfree has ended, signalling the start of the Fall semester of CHS. And Sunset could not be more excited.

A new year, new powers and even another chance at the Fall Formal was everything she could have hoped for! However, on her first day back at school, she soon realizes the magic they wield might be more than they can handle. And if Sunset doesn't find a way to control her powers; her life, and the friendships she's forged, could shatter right in front of her eyes.

Edit: So, 3 years since I've updated this, but due to some personal things happening in my life, I'm gonna try and pick this back up.

Things will be different, and some of my original plans are have changed.

Sunset is bored. Discord is bored. What better way to solve their problems than a wacky time travel adventure? A trip to a strange and mysterious era, where nothing makes sense, and everything Sunset knows about the world is called into question.

The Nineteen-Eighties.

A EQG and Harry Potter Crossover. We follow Sunset Shimmer and the students of Canterlot High when they travel to London, England to compete in the International Scholastic Competition, Quiz UK. Yet the girls soon find there is more to London, and in fact England, than was detailed in the travel brochures.
With dark magic, and powerful wizards, the girls find themselves caught up in an adventure that even Pinkie Pie would never have guessed.

Once again, I must thank very deeply Kitsy-Chan, for her wonderful story idea, and continuing help with creating the story. I hope I do the prompt justice.

Sunset's friends ask her for help with a lot of things. Pretending to be Rarity's boyfriend at her cousin's wedding is a new one. It can't be that hard, right? A sharp suit, some expertly applied makeup, and a good backstory and she'll be charming the pants off of the bridesmaids in no time.

But just what is Rarity hoping to get out of this subterfuge in the first place?

A lone vampire bat sneaks through the mirror portal and ends up in the human world. Instead of apples, it now craves something far richer. And unfortunately for Sunset Shimmer, she's its next snack.

Sunset can't remember any of her activities past sundown. The light hurts not just her eyes, but burns her skin. And she's thirsty.

So very thirsty.

It's up to the Rainbooms to save Sunset from herself before she drinks the whole city dry. Too bad Twilight Sparkle is her primary target.

Years after the tragic accident that tore them apart, Twilight is determined to move on from her loss, and she sets off on an independent research project to investigate the strange happenings at Canterlot High.
