Cutie Mark Crusader sleepover at Rarity's! But when three little fillies demand a bedtime story, the fashionista desides to weave a tale of an unlikely romance.

Inspired by Great Big Sea's rendition of Captain Wedderburn

(Decided to try my hand at a RariJack story, even if most of it is told by proxy. Enjoy!)

daww! that was so adorable. like the person above me write more of this paring.:pinkiehappy:

2446769>>2446785>>2446879 Thanks all :pinkiehappy: I'm a big fan of the pairing I just tend to shy away from writing it because I have trouble writing Applejack, but I found a bit of inspiration to write this and decided to go with it.

Articuno and her bitch approve.

I was iffy on whether or not it was worth reading, then you mentioned Great Big Sea. I must now read. And I am sincerely interested in how Rarity relates to this. Now my pretty fair miss, if it wasn't for the law. You and I in a bed might lie, roll me over next to the wall.

Oh, goodness! I love this story so much :raritystarry: It's so sweet, and I really liked the story Rarity told. It was not only well-written, but seemed in-character for her :pinkiehappy: The ending was perfect too; everything was PERFECT!

2447933 (S)he take her by her lily white hand and leads her down the hall, and takes her by her slender waist for fear that she might fall.

Really love that song.

lovely story, the bed time story rarity told, it reminds me of something that i can't remember, did you make it up, or did you use a story as a base?

2451024 Mostly made it up myself, with the exception of the questions which come from Captain Wedderburn's Courtship. At least, that was the only conscious influence. :twilightsheepish:

When we started dating, my wife would sometimes out-of-the-blue turn to me and ask, "Tell me a story?" So I would always just make up a little fairy tale, and that may be where this particular one started out.

That was super cute. Like, I have to go check my blood sugar now.:pinkiehappy:
You are a wonderful crafter of words, and my only regret is that it ended so soon. Although, the ending was great, so I'm not too upset. I also thought you did a wonderful job writing Applejack.

Hope to see more works from you in the future, Flutterguy, whatever they be.

THIS IS OFFICIALLY THE SWEETEST RARIJACK STORY I'VE EVER READ!!!!!!!:heart::heart::heart::heart:/:heart::heart::heart::heart::heart:

:ajsmug::heart::raritywink: IS MY OTP!!!!!!!

This was way cute :pinkiesad2: Nice little short story.
Will be checking out some of your other stuff too since it looked interesting.

In the first sentence you accidentally typed 'quite' instead of 'quiet'. Figured you'd want to know since everything else looked correct x)
And you've got trouble writing AJ, eh? This blog might help out a bit then:
Certainly changed how I look at writing for a character.

2455856 Thanks for the spelling catch, and I'll definitely be sure to check out that post

One of the best stories I have seen for this pairing.

You a T1 Diabetic? My BFF and her little sister are.

That was just

This was... surprisingly good. I love how you managed to tell the story in a fairy tale-like way. It's not often (if ever) that I see other author's succeeding in pulling that off so well. You've easily earned my favorite on this one.

This story was just so Adorable!!!:ajsmug::heart::raritystarry::heart:

:pinkiesad2:>that was the one of the most adorable Rarijack stories ever.

Well, that was just adorable. Also a unique way of conveying the pairing!

This is incredibly cute, sweet, diabetic and down right. . .I no longer have words to describe this. :rainbowkiss:

I don't think you realize how badly you've set up the 'And then they f**ked' ending. That may very well be the best subliminal message this story has to offer. Liked and faved.

That was unbelievably sweet.
Well done buddy, you nailed it!

has a cute "Princess Bride" feel to it
I just think that the ending was a bit rushed, and the Clover the Clever questions were a bit... Dull. However, I loved the story overall

So charming and adorable. :rainbowkiss:  Loved it!!!!

OH MY CELESTIA, was this fucking cute. :raritystarry: The romance fairytale itself was perfect. I could just imagine it being a picture book for kids. Especially with that clever little riddle part. It made for a wonderful story. Great ending too. So much swooning.
LOVED this. ADORED this. :ajsmug:
