(Prequel to Tears of a Fallen Star)
More than one thousand years ago, the world was a continuous string of wars. With nations at each other’s throats, leaders would place their trust in the assistance of mercenaries. But of all the mercenaries in the world, none were more feared than a special group known only as “The Cutters”. This group of three ponies, an earth pony and two pegasi were so feared that most nations would hesitate before hiring them. Mainly because their number one rule was to work for the highest bidder. Even if it meant killing their current contractor. With a past shrouded in mystery and a skill unmatched by any nation. these three mercenaries would kill without hesitation, without fear, and without mercy, a jewel for any nation’s military force. Yet there is more to them than what meets the eye.

not really but givin their past its, an effect of an unfortiounat life. not to mention they have a connection with the mian character of my other story Tears of a Fallen Star, so the color scheem had to be chosen carfully.
each has a tallent that has been added to their fightning style, Traipse the earthpony and the only male of the group likes to go into battle unarmed.
the rest will be added shortly but ill be adding them as i go on anouther story that has yet to be added here on FimFiction. this is just the first of probably 6 parts or more (i never know how long my stories run untill they end.)

yep i wish i could find an artist to make an image that has all of Star Bolt's major accomplishments (the royal gaurd exam, promotion to commander, the cloudsdale battle, the battle of canterlot, est.) with Scy in the background watching over him like a good mother would. (w/o him knowing of course) it would be an image that just thinking about brings a tear to my eye.
there is one more ch left for this one but i won't start on it till i finish the king's war since it will kinda spoil a surprise for the end of that one.
this is real dark stuff. its very dark compared to you other storys but its a story that i want to read. and BTW if you got any better at making storys i'd probaly be in a coma from the excitment of what will happen next! never let anyone tell you otherwise.

Since little is mentioned about the time befor NNM I felt that this was a sort of "Dark Ages" for Equestria, and something very common in the dark ages was war, and injustice. so I decided to show examples of what tragedy, pain and injustice can bring to a world in conflict, Thus the cutters were born.
im glade you like my writing and I hope you enjoy this story even though its not finished just yet.

sorry but that's all there is to it. they wont be in the next story because the next is a sequel to The Wondering Star. but the secret of Eden is a major part of the next story. but The King's war tells a large part of their story.

Great chapter and story so far. One thing that annoys me with this though but I understand why you did it is that Traipse didn't lleave when they trusted a random stranger over him. If that happened to me I would just say "You know what I'm leaving."

as far as the god thing, I'm fairly curtain that the mlp universe has separate gods/goddesses of its own, some even claim Celestia as being one such goddess, but "to each his own" as the saying goes.

Actually they weren't really based on anyone, I just threw together the idea of seemingly heartless and powerful soldiers who not only fight for themselves first, but also have a past that would bring about their lack of loyalty to any nation.
Although I never thought about it (since its been ages since I saw the old DBZ series) but the Cutters and the Ginyu Force are similar when I look at it.
If the main OCs in this story were voiced, what would they sound like?

The reaper would have a voice that only a wise woman would have sort of a leader voice.
Traipse would be almost the same with only a male voice.
and Blade would most likely have a Cocky yet untrustingly friendly voice. though at this point, she would have more of a noble tone to her speech since she is a noble again.
a truly grate story that has earned a place in my favored list.
