Trust me, this story walks a couple of lines, but none of them are truly cliche. More like mind fucking, relentless, love/hate relationship-type mind fucking. Things become much clearer further in (more convoluted), and the story is pretty good.

However, you could ratchet down the "This stuff is deep man, read it slow or you won't get it." and let your work speak for itself. I mean, it could very well be that deep. It could be more challenging than Ulysses for all I know. The problem is when you claim that in the description. It comes across as very Great and Powerful, if you get my drift. Genius, if you have it, is best highlighted by understatement.

Besides, I'm not in writing to be the best, I'm in it to enjoy myself and present my works to readers. If people like it, awesome. If not, it's their loss. Besides, I never referred to my story as anything "Great" or "Powerful". I simply wished to inform my readers that there will be quite a few things about this story that will be very different from the rest, though good or bad will be up to the reader to decide. Any decent captain of a vessel lets his passengers know as much as he can about the voyage they are all taking...and while I will not offer any spoilers, I am doing the same in essence. There will be no lemons involved in any of my stories, but there will be implied sex themes, as well as a few "line-walking" scenes. If you don't enjoy the story, oh well. If you do, then enjoy it to your fullest extent without being prejudice.
