I'm going to read this as soon as I see the first chapter. I can barely wait to. There's nothing like the testosterone infused, adrenaline releasing, action in the COD Modern Warfare series, and to see in MLP is going to be a real treat.
This is the second CoD/MLP crossover I've read. I like this one better, mainly because, as far as I can tell, Task Force 141 hasn't shot anypony, and have been oddly accepting of what happened to them. In the other story, it's Delta Force, and the first thing sandman did was shoot Rainbow. Anyways, keep up the good work, can't wait for the next one!

I was extremely disappointed when Ghost and Roach died. I was originally going to write this with Black Ops characters, but then I realized that I have more to work with with Modern Warfare characters. So I thought, "Screw it, I'm going to break the cardinal rule of FanFiction writing and say that they didn't die, only got injured," mostly for the fact that I wanted six characters from the MW universe instead of our.

All in all, this was a really great start. The other comments already say it, but I'll repeat it as well. That line from Nikolai was really well placed. It sounded exactly like something he would say. On that note though, that idea is my only qualm with the story. I haven't studied the Modern Warfare characters like I would a book's characters, but I've played and replayed them enough to know that they're pretty terse and aren't very descriptive in their speech. Your Price as an example explains his orders in the process of issuing them as opposed to the MW Price, who is a little more vague. It doesn't hurt the story a lot, but when I don't hear the characters talking like they would in the game, it's a little anti-immersive.
Other than that, this looks really great and if you're up to the job I'd love to read more.

As for the characters, their speech, and how they give orders, I will admit I'm taking a few liberties as to how it's portrayed in the games.
One thing is that they talk very sparsely throughout the game, save for a few short conversations that ends with Price either executing someone or yelling into his headset on how their heli/car/exfil should have been there 20 minutes ago.
Another thing is just me being a bit fussy, I didn't like how vague Price's orders were, I just never felt that they were complete enough.
And finally, I must warn you, as if how they talked here was anti-immersive, then the next few chapters are going to be really, really, weird, as it's just them interacting with the ponies in every day situations, just to get them settled. Fighting will happen eventually, but not for a bit.

Nice story! It's probably one of the few Modern Warfare crossovers that are actually awesome and stuff!
I hope they all stay badass while trying to not daww at the ponies, but since they are all highly trained soldiers with butloads of experience I just hope they don't get headaches from all the bright colors in Equestria atleast.
