He tries to speak up, but I’m not finished and run my hand down his cheek. His protests are soon nipped in the bud by a slender blue thumb being pressed to his lips.
Looking at him apologetically, I pick up where I left off, ”So you could only really be you by hiding behind a mask of online anonymity, by compartmentalizing your life, allowing you to indulge in all the things that were truly relevant to your interests while keeping up appearances around me. Did you honestly think I never noticed you closing browser windows when I came to sit next to you on the couch? How often did you retreat back here, to the privacy of your man-cave, so you wouldn’t have to wear headphones and could type as furiously as you wanted, away from my prying eyes? And how often did you resort to j-jerking off to things you wished we could be doing together...?”
Guilt-ridden, he tries to turn away and avert his already downcast eyes, but I stop him with a gentle nudge of my hand, wanting him to look me in the eye.
”When you gave me the key to this apartment, I just thought it was so symbolic...” I pause to gather my thoughts and lick my drying lips. ”I... just want you to know that it’s okay. I accept everything you are. You—you don’t have to hide anymore.”

I personally liked the lil' rainbow flag bit...

At first I couldn't find the right word to place what I thought of this entry. The best thing I have come up with thus far is 'glorious'.
Then I also had several thoughts on how I need to quit writing any kind of mature story because after reading this, I know I will never be able to succeed like this story does. It accomplishes exactly what it sets out to do, and it entertains like no other fanfiction I've ever read.
It's satire. It's raunchy. It's sweet. It's all kinds of things that should not go together and yet they are all presented and framed perfectly within their position in the story. It gets incredibly showy without being purple. It moves forward constantly and yet teases as to where the story will go.
It's clop. But at the same time, it couldn't be further from clop.
This story is a contradiction in how perfect it is.
And while I read to enjoy the literature. To take in the imagery. Still, I found myself actually aroused for the first time by a story that would be classified as... equine erotica.

Don't stop. Don't ever stop.

Also, my gf is starting to get annoyed by how much I'm egging her to read this story and singing its praises.

Some of the things in the story have implied that his girlfriend IS RD though. The way the "body paint" doesn't behave like it's painted on, the overly detailed cutie mark, her uncanny ability to mimic Rainbow. Even how she dyes her hair constantly, which would hide the fact her natural hair color is polychromatic. And then, of course, he wakes up cuddled up to a sleepy blue pegasus, who is cuddled up with the RD plushie he has, which is how his girlfriend fell asleep.
Or he is dreaming.

Ah, and for my part I've been struggling to think of a way to respond to this much praise without being reduced to a flattered-into-the-ground mush or insulting your opinion with self-deprecatingly modest statements about how it's really not that great.

So just, um... Thank you. Really.

There's nothing more pleasing to me than hearing that someone enjoyed something I created; that my writing affected someone somehow -- be it by making them laugh, or cry, or produce several buckets' worth of, erm, unmentionable (but very palatable) fluids. That should be the goal of every author, I think. (The affecting part, not the bucket-loads per se.)

In that vein, if your significant other ever does read it, I hope that she can enjoy it, too. I did put some psychological touches and kinks in there that appeal to me personally, but I'm still trying to cater to my (predominantly male) audience. Hence the title.

this is by far one of the best fics I've read where sex is the main focus. thus far the only other story I've read that comes close is xenophilia, it's hard to describe what it is i like about them, i guess it might be the way its written, it feels genuine, at least to a curtain extent. I really just felt the urge to give you praise, but it occurs to me that beyond what i've already said i can't put into words what it is i like about your fic. although having given it some thought, i think i know what it is, but it's not something i'm comfortable saying, so, lets just leave it at that. your story is really good and i look forward to reading more.

also just to be clear my reason has little to do with sexual gratification, i have no qualms in regards to talking about sex (for the most part anyways) the only reason i avoided saying anything of that nature, is because i wanted to express my enjoyment of this story with out resorting to a crude and utterly simplistic explanation. sorry if it ended up coming .off vague.
