I haven't read the story, however the title is going to instantly make people thing this is a Pokemon cross over not a Digimon one. I advise changing it to something else.

... Though I'm a bit confused about the Digivices, cause when you described Pinkie's you did not mention it having her Cutie Mark on it... but from what I can guess is that the screens were shaped like their marks am I right?

All I know about digimon is that the movie was bad.
Example from the movie:
Kid 1*crying*: That is the saddest story I ever heard.
Kid 2: It's my problem, not your's, get over it.
Kid 2*head springs up and imediately stops crying*: Okay!

02 same thing but even in Japan I hated the the fact that they cram Sorato into the last few epsiodes with no build up and then in the epilouge they have the nerve to not tell us T.K. and Kari are married when after all the ship tease we got there is no reason why they SHOULDN'T be together and don't get me started on the numerous cases of bad writing and character development.
Tamers in the English I wish they had tried to distance them from Adventure and not hired Kari's voice actress to voice the teacher, but it was argueably the best season of all simpy because of how plot driven it was.
Frontier no matter how you slice it was a bad rip off of Power Rangers/Sailor Moon/Transformers Masterforce, whatever you perfer and it had NO normal evolutions what soever.
I haven't see much of Data Squad (Savers in Japan, I'll never understand why Disney changed it) but from what I've seen it's decent and Marcus is B.A., Disney made too many edits though.
The Movie in the English Dub was actually both Adventure movies (The pilot movie and the reunion movie "Our War Game") and the first 02 movie (which was suppose to be out of continuity with the series) crammed together and edited to have a plot line that linked the three together, which explains why it stank so badly. (heck they even used a bad rap remix of the full theme)
The other 02 movie "Revenge of Diabormon" dubbed in English after Disney took over was an improvement even though just like the season it was based off of had cases of bad writing and neglected character development. (which is probably why some fans say it is out of continuity)
The Tamers movies "Battle of The Adventures" and "Runaway Locomon" were pretty cool, although everyone probably remembers "Runaway Locomon" more because of the fact that Rika sings in it.
(Edit: The dialogue was between Davis and Willis in the movie.)

I watched the nostalgia critic and JesuOtaku review it, so I have pretty much no idea as to what much of what you're talking about is.
The Nostalgia critic says that "Diabormon" was supposed to be "Diablomon" and that the translation team were idiots, as well as the digilutions of the angel digimon from the last segment of the movie looked like (And I quote) "A Burger king chess piece and a My little pony version of Falcor" (unquote)

1420362 That was the movie, which as I said consisted of 3 movies from the anime produced in Japan that were combined into one with a new plot foe U.S. audiences, the third movie a.k.a. the "Present Day" part was suppose to be out of continuity but the writers shoe horned it in and that was where the angel transformations come from and they even screwed up on names because they misprounced Serphaimon so it sounded like Sirroukomon.
The anime is a bit different, the series so far are Adventure, Adventure 02, Tamers, Frontier, Savers (Data Squad in the U.S.), and Xros-Wars which will be dubbed as Fusion in the U.S.. Each one with the exception of the first two take place in different universes despite the fact that Tamers refers to it the previous seasons as a t.v. series.

1423769 Well look it up on YouTube if you want, Adventure or Tamers would be good for a start, Adventure 02 won't make sense if you haven't seen Adventure first though, as for Frontier and Savers/Data Squad (Whatever you want to call it) that's up to you.
Adventure is fairly cheesy but it picks up pretty fast, Tamers isn't as cheesy although it's a bit slower in starting up, but the last few episodes THOSE are some of the best.

well, didnt expect that amny comments, even thought most of em were about the agreeably bad dubbing of digimon movies.
few things to point out
in a way, this is supposed to be a tribute to Adventure 01, but there will be many differences(teams, evo themes, story)
as for the digivices, think of them as the chronomorphers from the time force power rangers, with less buttons and a slightly larger screen. it is a good idea for the screen to look like the ponies cutie marks Xeno, so one internet muffin cookie for you!
and finally, im still looking for a theme, so far, the third arc(yes, there will be multiple arcs) and i need one for the first and second arc, and if anyone says the digirap or Butterfly(japanese opening), im going to kick you.

Hey guys guess what Saban has purchased the rights to Digimon and thus will dub the latest season of Digimon for U.S. audicences. The show will be called Digimon Fusion, right now there is no offical air date but I'd say that it will likely be here by this time in 2013. It may end up going to the new channel known as The Vortex which has replaced the CW 4KIDS block.

1822825 Well I don't know yet, as of now Vortex hasn't really had anything announced for it. I think for right now Saban is busy working on Power Rangers Mega Force so they're going to wait unitl that's done before putting any shows on Vortex. Who knows Saban may even put Digimon on Nick before transfering over them to Vortex. Just keep checking the channel periodically for updates.

Um… not to bash your story or anything but… HERE THE BLOODY HELL DID YOU GET THE IDEA THAT LOPMON COULD DIGIVOLE INTO SORCERMON! I know that lopmon can digivole to wizardmon in digimon world ds, but not into sorcermon.

and as for lopmon evolving into Sorcermon, its both a plot point and from a technical standpoiont. she was going to be a Wizardmon, but upon a random jaunt through the digimon wikia, and me playing digital card battle and getting owned by sorcermon in it, i figured it would fit better, especially considering that lopmon uses ice for projectile attacks. why do you think it says "error evolution" on its digidex entry?
