Digi-Dex entry 001

Hello Everypony! my name is Twilight Sparkle, and Since we seem to be stuck in a strange world with new creatures, i feel i should record those i find intersting. and why not do the one we met first, Allomon, as well as a few of ours.

---

Allomon-Armor type Digimon. Evolved from Hawkmon using Digimental of Courage.
it resembles an Allosaurus and is extremely violent, so caution is advised if approaching. if you need to run, i hope you can run REALLY fast, because like an allosaur, its incredibly fast.

Attacks
Dino Flame-Shoots a gout of flame at his intended target. the flame itself is almost as hot as a dragons flame.
Dino-Crusher- Using its powerful legs, it leaps into the air and tries to smash its opponent.
Dynamite Head- using its head, it rushes forward to headbutt with explosive force.

Agumon-Rookie level Digimon. Evolves from various digimon according to him.
According to Agumon, he's actually a different variety form most, known as a 'Raptor X" type, he has Red straps around his claws, and looks vastly different from normal Agumon. In anycase, he seems to get along well with Spike, and we have to be careful not to let them have fire breathing contests.

Attacks
Pepper Breath-shoots a small fireball. Spike seems to be trying to emulate it.
Spitfire blast- A better version of Pepper Breath, taking a more steady flow than a quick fire ball.

Veemon-Rookie level Digimon. Evolves from DemiVeemon.
According to Lopmon, Veemon is a Rare Species, even among most Dragon type Digimon. he can perform 'Armor evolution', and it seems my big brother had one as his is an Armor evolution using the digi-egg of courage. Like Rainbow Dash, his partner, he loves pranks, and seems to think rushing in headfirst is the best way to end fights...literally.

Attacks
V-Headbutt- What can I say, its a headbutt.
V-Punch- I think if Rainbow were a Digimon, she'd be this one as he seems to put V in all his very simplistic attacks...

well, i tried to get digimon that were similar, if not entirely like in Veemon and Rainbow's case, to thier pony counterpart.

Twilight- tentomon or gabumon

Spike - patamon

Pinkie pie - biomon

Rarity - palmon

Fluttershy - gomamon

Applejack- gabumon or tentomon

Applebloom - gatomon

I always thought a Knight-type (Knightmon for example) digimon would fit Shining Armor better, but your choice is OK too.

Hey guys guess what Saban has purchased the rights to Digimon and thus will dub the latest season of Digimon for U.S. audicences. The show will be called Digimon Fusion, right now there is no offical air date but I'd say that it will likely be here by this time in 2013. It may end up going to the new channel known as The Vortex which has replaced the CW 4KIDS block.

1550504 Well they just now got it, they're still finishing up Power Rangers Samurai on Nick and they've got Power Rangers Megaforce to deal with, given time I'm sure Saban will get Digimon back on the airwaves, and let's hope they restore stuff that Disney cut.

im not giving Digimon to ponies based on awesomeness, i give them based on compatibility.
also, i wanted to give shining an armor digimon rather than a knight type, doesnt mean that he's stuck with an un-evolvable digimon.

Hey, hey, they 'DIgivolve' not 'Evolve', they are not Pokémon, they`re Digimon. Let me explain, Digivolution requires an influx of data and the more powerful the form, the more data is required. Evolution is a slow and progressive trait that Humans are a result of, Pokémon have mastered into a way of EXTREMELY fast evolution once certain requirements are met, allowing for more effective life style. Digivices allow the owner, or a 'Digi Destined', to help their Digimon Digivolve temporarily using the devices mysterious and near limitless flow of energy combined with the willpower of both the Destined and their Digimon. For regular Digimon, there needs to be a significant amount of energy in the air or else they will regress, or simplt be absorbed by another Digimon. This is why some Digimon have adapted to a very aggressive lifestyle, because it allows the flow of more Data and energy that allows them to sustain their form and perhaps even progress if they absorb enough data.

Now, you may be wondering why normal Digimon simply don't regress when they absorb enough data to Digivolve, this is because of the usually steady income of the Digital World, and that Data is not used up very quickly (think of it like how a diesel burns fuel compared to a Toyota Hybrid) the larger the Digimon, the more powerful they are, and the more data they use, or at least in the Adventure universe, as in the Tamer universe all of their Digimon had a hard time returning to Rookie level after Digivolution, Growlmon especially.

Now, as a final note, please make Agumon and Spike have a fire breathing contest, if you haven't already.
