It's a good premise and the delivery is fine, but the tags and story summary give away the punchline before we even start reading. Kind of ruins the joke.

Hmm... I think I get it. Anon got what he wanted and what he deserves at the same time.
...Was that it? Sorry, this feels like a chapter one to a possibly long running story. Since, anon clearly know a bunch about G4 and knows a lot about the world. One thing being time travel is definably possible through using spells or finding somepony like Discord to take him back to G4. Heck it could lead into amazing adventure by itself. This story is fine as it is, but works as marvelous set up for more.

I won't lie the very idea is entertaining but there's just too little we know about the new world, maybe if they released like a few episodes then I would entertain the idea but for now yeah that's all.
