Shapeshifting.

Sort of a foreshadowing of things to come during Smolder's rematch against Ocellus later on. The way I see it, is basically, while Ember has to fight Spike and his growing harem, Smolder has her own big monster lined up to fight throughout the story.

Gallus, on the other hand, is a wild card thrown in. I knew when I started this, I couldn't spread a sex disease without answering the blatant changeling living in Ponyville, but adding Gallus is a whole other problem for the two dragonesses to deal with.
