Snow Quill

Just a bat, sometimes writes, sometimes draws

T

Cheerilee is a happy mare. She has an amazing marefriend, loves her job, and overall has a happy life.

Sure, Rara’s music career can keep them apart for some time and sure, maybe she gets a little annoyed with her students occasionally but those little things are just part of life.

It’s not like he has any skeletons in her closet.

Nope, Cheerilee is an unhappy stallion mare.

As I said, perfect mix of ouchie feelies to happy feelies. Plus, trans Cheer is good good good! Love it

How dare you make me cry,,

There absolutely needs to be more transmasc stories on this site but dang if they don't have their work cut out for them compared to this utter masterwork...!

Thank you so much! I was a little worried about this story ngl but…it’s gotten a much better reception than I thought it would. I’m really glad to hear you enjoyed it

Oh, that picture at the end just wraps this whole story up so very nicely~

Using the bouncing pronouns at the beginning was, I believe, a very effective way of conveying Cheer's inner struggle. Good job all around!

Thank you! And I know right? As soon as I was writing the necklace bit I was like…I need art for this lol.

I’m really glad that the bouncing of pronouns worked. I was a little hesitant and worried it would make it too confusing to follow, but I’m happy people have said it worked.

and clicked the puzzle pieces together

In all seriousness, this was quite a trip in every sense of the words. I felt like I had to walk through a garden of thorns to get to see the roses bloom.

Well, I hope the trip and cuts from the thorns were worth it in the end (and that it is just an interesting way to say you enjoyed it lol.)

Trust me, I certainly did.

Thanks for the comment, I’m glad you liked it!

This was great! Interesting to see Cheerilee presented as a transstallion, and that flashback sequence was quite terrible. It's really nice to see Rara accept him.
