Oh man, this is really going back. Like, ancient by internet standards. I guess I took a long time with chapter 3, and then the drama with the TWE went down, and after all this time it just isn't relevant anymore. Although, now that I think about it, I have a lot of stuff written, and I've been wanting to write, but been suffering a massive block for awhile. Maybe some ultra-violence would be fun.
Tell you what: If you post a chapter of that new story you've been working on, then I'll continue this story. Deal?

Well, that's the problem, isn't it? Sometimes there really isn't a clearly defined answer. Every good guy is someone else's bad guy, every monster has a shred of humanity, and every hero has a dark side.
Daddy is a monstrous human being, this is true, but his evil comes from being a cynical, dispassionate husk of a man, just as miserable as any of his victims. But now that he has found something to live for, something to truly be passionate about, something he is even willing to sacrifice himself for, will he escape his downward spiral, and find something better within himself? Is redemption even possible for him? Is Scootaloo too far gone to come back to the light? Would she even want to if she could? Are Celestia and the Bronies really an unambiguous force for good? Does not even God Himself bear some of the blame for allowing all of this horrible shit to happen in the first place?
Perhaps it will become more clear when I update it and expand on what's going on in this world, since I'm planning to come back to this story soon, but if you want a simple answer, then Daddy and Scootaloo are good guys, because you want to root for them to get a happy ending, this story is good, because there is action and explosions in it, and you love it, because of the above reasons.
Is this, deep down, what I've secretly always wanted?
