I don't think branching out for the sake of challenging themselves (Randomizer Poll, in this case) should be a cause for alarm. If anything, it should be impressive that someone who has done mostly M/M is tackling the technical opposite... though it is an interesting choice now that you mention it, and I may be a bit curious myself as to why that route was taken.

Well, I currently have 4 F/F fics: two of them are SFW, and the other two are clop.
The SFW stories are Unfamiliar Patterns (Rarity/Zecora), and Mother Fluffer (Gilda/Twilight Velvet). My two clopfics are A Different Kind of Conquest (Tempest Shadow/Twilight Sparkle), and Munching A Ripe Apple (Applejack/Granny Smith) (that one was commissioned for a friend).
That's was really good.

Sequel? Librarian Celestia is hot. And this story reminds me of an image where Twilight is watching a slut bimbo Celestia look through books on a shelf while she rubs her cock across Celestia's ass.
I could do with a little more flesh on those bones, story-wise, but it was good anyway. (Although I did wonder about some minor spelling mistakes in the early parts of the story.)
Working hypothesis: Scorpans magic isn't all that different from Sombra's and instead of using your worst fears against you, it tempts you to stay. (The best prisons are those you don't want to escape from, after all.) So basically, her subconsciousness is providing her means of capture and since the prison/trap works with her mind against her mind, it would 'know' how to ease her into being a prisoner - by starting with something she can get behind initially ('quickly' fulfilling a strong, early fantasy) and extending the allure from there. Twilight isn't the horny filly that wrote those fanfictions anymore, I would suspect that, by now, she has desires and dreams and fantasies that run way deeper and this trap could use that to keep her around for years. (Or, you know, until her eventual death because thirst is a thing.)
Though I do admit, Atreidae's comment about everything being in her head and only in her head, standing there and giving the guards a show is somewhat hilarious, too.
